I am just chuckling that you take my comment so seriously yet overlook at the simple fact that ANYONE can say, "See, the Lord punished them!" especially if they don't like the town!

As for Katrina, only the French Quarter where homosexuals go survived without damage while blacks suffered enormous damages (and many died). I guess God is punishing blacks because blacks haven't worked harder.

I don't entertain that non-sense.

Yep, Defee. And, also it is sad to know that Satan will laugh at unbelievers for NOT believin' God or that He don't exist. Satan himself believes that God does exist. He was once an angel before............
 
To those who just can't seem to grasp it:

Step 1: Acquire dictionary.
Step 2: Lookup "Sarcasm".
Step 3: Proceed to hit yourself with dictionary for the good of humanity.
 
We know what that is. But in a way, people conversations, same phrase does not always be the same attitude. No way of telling if they are joking, sacastic, seriousness and etc.
 
The problem is this, where did Netrox mentioned about Falwell and Robertson on post #1. NADA. And adding on post #10 about them, Netrox didn't mention it. This is where it coming from, all is about mocking, timidating christians. what is the point? Well, bec...., he....., they....., aand complaining about particular group this and that not meaning all christians are the same. It's sound like a same behavior as KKK toward black. Accusing christians and defending non christians to make it appear christian behaving that way, by thinking we don't know if its sarcastic. Play fair here. I dont care if you are a believer or not. We share our views,and whenever it brought up that is contradict some christians teaches, we do have a right to point it out and clarify.

Word dude. ;) I don't even bothered to pay attention to any of Netrox's posts anymore, his mockery and insults on Christians is something I don't even have the time or interested in reading.

i understand your point. but as much as y'all have a right to point it out and clarify, we have a right to debunk, challenge and refute their claims. i also understand netrox and xentar's points - christians have been brutalizing us -- non-believers -- for not believing in christianity or god. i'm going to use maria's post as a prime non-brutalizing example -

that kind of crap i've heard all the time from christians and you asked us to take y'all seriously. i don't know about others but they give me a reason to doubt and develop the capacity of justified skepticism toward them [christians].

i'm sure you know the history of christianity, their history isn't pretty. they murdered, they enslaved, they massacred and so on. and christians have a guts to lecture at us about love, peace, forgiven and all that. their history teaches us one thing - it's more safer to not trust them. i can understand that it is extremists on christians' side who give the religion of christianity a bad name but it's a rarity for non-extremist christians to make noise and condemn the extremists. i offered my point and links to defee twice and she hadn't say anything about falwell or robertson but bellyaching about netrox's snarks. you're the first christian in this forum to condemn the extremists -- falwell and robertson. the very first christian. while you may not care, you give me a reason to respect you and your views a bit more than what i can give others.

I guess you haven't had time to read thru all the debate threads yet. I, and others, have frequently condemned the words and actions of so-called Christian "leaders" and groups.

I understand. I don't have time to read and/or respond to every post at AD either.
 
Did I ever profess a belief in God? Never. I've said that I don't believe in God. My atheism is pretty well established.

So, with that in fact, how can you seriously take my comment, "God punished them?" You can't.
 
The issue isn't about whether God and Satan believe in each other, but why people should believe in either of them. If God and Satan exist... of course, they will believe in each other. But, there isn't exactly proof of either of them.

There are some people who go psycho and use Satan or God as an excuse.

The better word is, SOME christians. And also, not always so about christianity, bec it wasn't pretty of any kind christianity, muslims, catholics, non religions and etc.All I see its edited what has happened those times and make christians look bad. It's sound like try to get rid of christians by not do anything and let others killing christians and wouldn't be any left and this world be far more chaos. The world will be in the end. Why? No one will know and the purpose of the cross. The reason moderate christians not do anything to extremist christians, bec we do what God called us to do, be a witness and have nothing to do with extremist. Extremist is far more like religious leaders. Moderate out to reach people to show God's love. Notice, Jesus has nothing to do with extremist, bec extremist nothing but mouthing off, not just extremist christians, non believers the same way, nothing be bigotry and mouthing off. All I see nothing but blaming christians. And also twisting, and even copying what christians said, but turned around claiming christians has a problem. Like repeating for instance, the reason christians repeating, bec non believers the one think they understood, but not, blaming christians being repeating. All of us has some off topics and most blaming christians alone been off topics. Give me a break.

Nope! Buddhist people never went out killing other religions. Buddhism are very good religion.

Now look at Chinese, and some middleast countries. They show NO RESPECT.

And what's more, Buddha is not a leader, but a spiritual guide for people. Buddha himself is not a God in Buddhist's view. The Buddhism religion is a nonthesit, which means that their religion do not include the God. Buddha is only a teaching.
