Pope John Paul II in the hospital

Gee... I guess God doesn't really care about him. If he was considered the most religious man in the world with the expected support from God, how can he get sick? ;)

Haha, Don't use that word Christian to labels with my comments. Those came out from my opinion not from my Christian's thoughts.

1st point-
Honestly, he needs to die. Every time he was supposed to be dead man and every people tries to save him from being dead. He played like, "Cheating the Death." It is unfair for some homeless or some people that they have to die with no help.

My other view of Pope and he is one of damn lair to millions people. Pope is a sinner and he was never a holy person. Many people idols Pope for his holy, That is please! Catholic is not a truth religious and same with the issue with salvation. He is one that advised Hitler to kill millions of Jews. Reason to kill Jews, Catholic wanted to set-up the Catholic headquarters at Holy City. He is murder and not many people saw the truth of his murders. That is what I know of Pope. I can bring up all strong evidences of Pope's terrible actions or history of darkness inside Catholic at new thread. It is too amazing how people believed that Catholic is true religious.

I do not appreciate you calling my religion not a truth religion. But Im not going to waste my breath arguing with you.
 
He is good man and did alot for Polish people during communist era. He has alot of love for Christ. He chose to be a priest and did not expect to be a pope. He spend his youth years in the nature and hike alot to be with Christ. He is more holy man than anyone I have seen here today except for Mother Teresa. He is not dying yet and it is not his time yet.

No one here has right to say bad things about him except for Polish people and Catholics.

One more thing he did not give Hitler an advice to kill his own Polish people. And you believe whatever you want and I do not believe one word u said about him murdered his own Polish people.

As a born catholic myself, now an atheist, yet I still love the old traditions of Catholicism. I, like Meg, feel very much insulted by other christian's comments in re: wishing death upon the Pope.

The current Pope has done a lot for the world. His legacy will be forever remembered in a pantheon of the over 600+ Popes that preceded before him. More on history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_John_Paul_II

Remember John Paul II was elected Pope way back in 1978 upon the death of John Paul I whose reign only lasted 33 days. He was 58 when elected and has survived an assassination attempt, Parkinsons, and many other things up to now. His faith in the people and Catholicism is very unshakable and he has remained so ever faithful in his service to the Church and that is why I have long had so much respect for the Pope.

Also another interesting note is that Cardinals (the highest group of priests) are required to retire past the age of 80 and even at 80, they cannot participate in the election of the next Pope during a conclave.

Sable, I understand where you are coming from. Like you, I am no longer a practicing Catholic but the traditions remain with me. It gave me a foundation, set of values and faith.

I am no longer practicing as a Catholic because of politics but I still hold a GREAT deal of respect for the Pope. His never-wavering faith, humbleness, love and genuine admiration for people are what I admire the most.

I just dont appreciate people confusing him with the one during World War II.This Pope is unique and will leave ever lasting legacy.

Polish not, it is Jews.

You can call me fake Christian or dumb guy or whatever you want. At least I bring up something fact about deep inside of Catholic. Many Christian have same beliefs as I do. Pope is not holy, Catholic is false Religious. Pope is very bad person but he done many actions to cover up his darkness side.

Did you read Martin Luther's history? With that history and it applies to Catholic and Pope, too. It haven't happened only to currently Pope but it also happened to all Catholic's popes.

I am not labelling you as christian.. I was surprised that a christian like you would say that to any people like Pope. I mean, practice what you preach. Know what I mean? Sorry if I offend you with that 'labelling' but it is not my intention.

As for your comments about christians and catholics, hmmm know what's interesting about that? Native Americans and many foreigners thought that christianity is not true religious and they also thought that christians are insane to practice that 'religion'. That's one of few reasons why vikings hacked christians into pieces few hundred years ago because they thought christians are insanes.

I am a strong believer in spiritual things... that's why I feel that I am closer to Native Americans and their 'religion' than any religions. They thought that christians are insane when they cutted the God's creation a.k.a. trees down to build the churches. These trees are God's creations, it is more holier than churches ever will be. You see, Jesus isolated himself in the wilderness to purified the demons and sins before his own people crucified him. Why did He choose the wilderness instead of churches? Wilderness have its own pureness, far purer than churches. So why did christians cutted these trees down to build the filthy churches to pray or purify their sins when the God's creation a.k.a. wilderness is right there for you to pray or purify your sins? In that argument, native americans always win or right.

I can go on and on more about native americans and their perspectives about these christians but you get the general idea. I dunno if you do know or not... many of these religions have the same God but only in different names.

My opinion about christians (actually Religious Right) is quite harsh but I refused to share my full opinion so I better leave on that.

My opinion: "practice what you preach" is a lost philosophy to Religious Right.

About Pope and 'liar'... Bush is a biggest liar too yet you praised him as your 'king' (literally). As for your other comment: "I was Catholic and I discovered all that terrible darkness of Catholic." I was a christian and I discovered the darkest and horribly truths about Christianity too.

Edit: All in all, catholic is anything but 'fake' or 'deceptive'. I also don't think that christianity is fake either. I just shared what I know from these people.

John Paul was not even a priest during WWII. He was a young college student and worked in a quarry and factory. He certainly had no influence on Hitler.

Jewish Polish and Polish people were murdered by Hitler and this man has nothing to do with them. My husband's great grandmother was murdered by Hitler and she was very Catholic. I do not believe your words about Pope John Paul about connect with Hitler. Just another catholic bashers try to bring those people down.

I watched history channel few weeks ago about him, he loves wilderness and spend alot of time there during his youth years to be closer to God.

Remember john paul condemed the soviet union for interfere with polands freedom during the national strike? And John Paul spoke in front off 150,000 polish people in a large stadium in 1984? and this polish guy said why watch it on TV? We dont trust television because they might not tell it like the pope said . And there was another man lead to protest at a radio station in poland because the press said a lot of bullshit about the pope so the protesters went down to the radio station and shouted LIE!!,,LIE!!,,LIE!!,,LIE!!,,LIE!!! in front of the radio station. Pope john paul is another reason why the soviet union colapsed Europeans in eastern europe saw what poland did and they joined in too.And Ronald Reagan did the finishing touches by saying """ MR Gorbachev,Tear Down this wall!!""" So pope john paul really had something to do with the fall of the soviet union.
