Roadrunner and I found out by an email that PeachyLady sent us during the night asking for prayers ....Her brother and his wife went on a vacation down where hurricane Emily was to strike and we are asking members of AD to pray for their safety and protection....They have 7 children and they do need their parents, so please pray for them :)

Hope that hurricane Emily will not harm them any way possible. I'll keep in faith that they're safe and unharm. ;)

I did see a little bit of news about Emily hitting Cozumel, where you mentioned they were vacationing at....I'll be tuning to the nightly news for more information later on.

PeachyLady isn't sure if they were able to evacuate since she hasn't heard from them and is very worried....

If I hear anymore news on this, I'll be sure to let you all know!

Aww thanks Angel for making this a thread about my brother and sister in law! I want to tell everyone thanks sooo much for all your prayers as I believe in the power of prayers, especially in chain prayers. I just got email a few min ago from my mom that my brother Alan called her. He and his wife are fine and that there were plants damage, but not very bad damaged buildings. I'm so glad that they weren't killed. They have 7 children from 21 to 11 years old. I believed that God would take care of them, but I still worried alot. I couldn't sleep well last night. Now I am very relieved. I don't know if they got off Cozumel Island to go to Mexico before hurricane Emily arrived. I will know more later on. Keep your prayers for others who have not been as fortunate. :grouphug:

I will pray for her families and people down there. I did not realized till this evening, my co-worker (I am subbing for her) is in Mexico for vacation this week too but dunno which part of Mexico she is in. Hopefully no one gets hurt badly there.

She wont be back till next Wed so dunno what is going on with her yet. If anything happen I am sure my other co workers will let me know. Thanks and I am glad they are okay.
