Loopholes that is the key to our problems. If we closed enough loopholes there would be $ flowing in the Treasury.

Loopholes in law is like a seam in a ship that has not been riveted enough for leaks to spring through the whole ship. The rich doesnt just take advantage of loopholes to get away with paying less taxes, but also criminals could use certain loopholes to get away with crime.

Laws are much well intentioned, some are not, but still both have loopholes that could spring a leak on such a tight ship like the Government.

There's a flaw to this idea of yours, if we plan to tax the HELL out of the rich, how are they going to be able to provide us the jobs?

The rich folks provide us the jobs, and if we force them to pay more... they'll cut us off.

Fly Free is right... I'm the perfect example
of getting "Laid Off" only because of
upper management's finance style.
My previous employer/boss (President/Vice President)
is a bunch of IDIOT !!! I saw how much $$$$
he wasted so much $$$$ during the
corporation operations !!!! He still have
the job even now and I am the one who got laid off
so that way he can save his own job himself
even though he's the one who should
get fired or laid off himself... he even
live in Boston and fly a corporate jet
to our office near DC EVERY Tuesday morning
and then flies back to his home in Boston EVERY
Thursday afternoon. He spent fortune
and wasted our fortune with airports, luxury limos
and hotels almost every day... I wish that
I had some GUTS telling him to STAY in Boston
and save more money just to pay me to do
my work and keep my job. I cannot understand
why and how did our CEO let the company President
grab $$$$ from our favorite CEO's pocket
all the times ? Grrr, I wish that CEO could just
fire that President for taking too much
advantages from CEO, sigh....

The problem is, there are many people who are overpaid.

For example, NBA, MLB, NFL, and more major sport franchises...

They pay the athletes way too much, and these money should be used to hire more people.

Wal-Mart, now that's a good one. The head of Wal-Mart is worth what?

40 billion?

Imagine what they could do with that money?

They'll be able to provide thousands of jobs with it.

They could give a million job positions with salary of $30,000 each and there'll still be some money left over from the 40 billion dollars!

Anyway, the point is... if you attempt to tax them at a higher rate. You are asking for a big screw-up in the economy, like it or not but that's what will happen if you tax them more.
