Well, I'm referring to Ontario, Canada.

What you see on TV news especially when it come to unions, it tend to be distorted when it come to the truth. They make all these claims that make it sound so horrific when it isn't.

In USA, there are many cities who don't pay the educators enough, but that's because the states abuse their power so much and spend money on themselves when it should be spent on education instead.

Well, the Healthcare System here is pretty flawed too. Plus, the doctors run off to the USA so they can collect hundreds of thousands annually.

That is very true. My feeling was that NCLB was more of a ploy to undermine the public school system and direct the taxpayer dollars into private school vouchers.

I read my local system test results a while ago......The schools in the poor areas were worse off with a huge % of failures compared to only 1 or 2 failures in the richer districts. Pretty huge imbalance can ya say eh?

yea but if its common drugs thats cheeper there in mexico than it is here in the states and those who are living in the southern parts of the states would head down to Mexico -- i guess it depends on which drug theyre buying down there

The nitwits at FDA thinks Canadian drugs are unsafe than ones bought in the USA....I say BULLSHIT! Essentially its just pretty the same thing not to mention calling an American-made product unsafe for Americans. fuckers.

yea im aware of the arguments surrounding the prison funding and building more high tech prisons to make them escape proof and all that shit -- i agree it should be up to the feds for the education system to bring it back up to par and stick with the higher standards that are expected of the kids along with providing some sort of support system for kids with special needs that they would need while being educated growing up

Ah, I just remembered something. I have read that there is a HUGE flaw in the healthcare system in the USA.

At least a trillion is spent on healthcare annually, and hundreds of these billions goes into the rich folks' pockets and the commercial budgets to promote their frickin' drugs when their doctors simply could just recommend the drug to their patients at no extra cost!

That's why so many people get crappy services at their hospitals, and if they do stop the rich folks from putting the cash into their pockets and spending it on commercials to turn a profit.... you will see a HUGE difference in the quality of healthcare!

Actually paying teachers' salary is the states' responsiblity not the federal government. Would be nice if the federal government pays some of it. Some states are ignoring teachers because they are not doing enough to the students.

Exactly my sentiments. Too much advertising for prescription drugs are one of the factors besides the R & D in sky-high prescription costs.

Also dont forget high malpractice insurance premiums is driving doctors away from the profession too.
