A recent survey in the UK claimed that:
* Nearly 80 per cent of men get along with their mothers-in-law. Only 75 per cent of women feel the same way about theirs;

* Three out of 10 men are scared of their mother-in-law, while two in 10 feel their mother-in-law intereferes with their lives;

* And one in 200 men said that their mother-in-law had made sexual advances towards them!!

Do you have a problem with your in-laws or bf/gf's parents?

Its True, The in laws interfere the way the couple raises children. I think grandparents do not have a right to visit their grandchildren if the couples do not want them to.Like my ex neighboor once said"" My Grandchildren are my life"" Now does that sound sick to you? I have a feeling someday theyre gonna make a law on it and then,The couples gonna wind up moving to another country where their laws would forbid them to see their children if you dont want them to.I belive in australia if grandparents harrass the couples the can call the police and they will warn them to leave if they refuse they go to jail.

As of this moment, I have no problem with Nas' parents. They are very broad-minded and kind people. Nas have no problem with my mother either, in fact, she visited my mother weekly for any kind of woman issues/discussion that she would like to know or need the feedbacks, answers, etc that she rather not to have her mother to know or find out. Since my mother lived approx 30 mins away from where we live in, so it is no problem for her or us to visit my mother. My mother loved her.

For sure, I will refuse to introduce Nas to my dad unless certain circumstance force upon me.

I have no problem with my prince's mother. She is very kind, supportive and sweet person I've met. :)

mil means mother in law....

well my mother is a pest, emotional, a lot of my friends and relatives do not like her or can tolerate her for more than 5 mins. That's how bad she is.

Yes, I know what 'MIL' is because I frequently used it a lot in my old blog. Actually, I used 'MILFH' as in 'MIL from hell'

When you said, "my hubby hates MY mil" I was thinking the way you said it could mean his mother, but when you mentioned it's your mother then it should have been "hates HIS mil" meaning he hates your mother. Now, that's all clear. I didn't mean to sound like... Ms. Grammar Nazi. :) Tell him he's not the only one. I can so totally relate! BBNT and Liza and perhaps few others can vouch for this!

i was married to my ex hubby, i dont have plms with his family.. they were soo sweet and nice to me..

That's soo sweet ! I am glad that his mother and step mother are very nice people to you. My prince is really blue-blooded prince. He is soo sweet gentleman. His mother was here to spend with us for one week and she is from Germany. :D

My In-Laws are the most annoying people that I have ever meet. They hated me from the start. Trying everything possible to break us up. Including kicking my wife out of the house. They did this shorty after I propused to her. The plan fail when we moved in together. So instead of her being out on the street we lived in a cute little cottage. Then they refused to help pay for the wedding. That was a total joke because they were broke. When they found out we were going to have a baby. They told my wife she has thrown her life away. Now there has been 8 years with them. They do nothing but try to insult, embarrass and anger me. NONE of it works. They recently revealed their retirement plan. to quit their jobs and move in with us. So I told them the only way they can live with us. Is for my Mother-In-Law to catch Bigfoot alive, have sex with it and then have his baby. That means NEVER. Not a snowball's chance in hell will those lunitics ever live with me. BTW I call them the Smalldickski's... If I can somehow cover them with Preperation-H. Will they disappear???

Wow...

Well, I never really have had a problem with my ex in laws...i do not always like the way they day or do some things. For the most part they ahve been nice to me, but I would never say they made me feel like family. I know anything they have done for me, was because of the kids, simple as that! They can be really emotionally detatched people, and I am a very emmotional person, so you can see how we can clash! They have always made me feel uncomfortable with who I am and the way I see things, as if they are right no matter what. Oh well...I do the best I can to keep the peace...but sometimes it is hard. Especially since their son and I divorced and he ahs new gf taht they seem to like cuz she is the type who will let them control her as they tried to do with me...but I would not let them, that was also part of the problem with them. They are control freaks. But anyway....I am glad I did not have really bad in laws...for the most part I like some of his family..but I know they only tolerate me when I they have to, I know this...oh well, so I tolerate most of them too. lol BUT ONLY when I absolutely HAVE to. LOL I hope you all have a great day!!

oh man laughing love the way you say about your in-laws. As for me, I dont have any in-laws because I am not married! lol

I don't like or dislike my mother-in-law. She's just a lunatic, plain and simple. :roll:

Hmmm...I may probably be the only one who have a wonderful mother-in-law who is LEARNING sign language to communicate with me? (In fact, my father-in-law is steadily losing his hearing, so it is a big incentive for them to learn some ASL anyway. ;))
