Mom accused of allowing Tucson man to have sex with 15-year-old daughter
RACINE, Wis. -- A woman was accused of giving a man permission to have sex with her 15-year-old daughter.
The mother was charged with failing to prevent mental harm to a child. The man, Aaron S. Corkill, of Tucson, Ariz., was charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child.
According to the criminal complaint, Corkill met the girl and her mother last year, and he and the girl began communicating over the Internet and later the telephone.
Corkill came to the Burlington area on Feb. 10 and asked the girl's mother for permission to have sex with her daughter, the complaint said.
The mother told him they could have sex as long as he wore a condom, the complaint said.
He and the girl told investigators they had sex four times, the complaint said.
Police arrested Corkill after another man told officers Corkill was bragging about having sex with a 15-year-old, the complaint said.
The girl's mother faces up to 12 1/2 years in jail and a $25,000 fine if convicted. Her name was withheld to protect her daughter's identity. Corkill faces up to 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine if convicted.

Does this mother even have her head on straight? Parent's, are supposed to be protecting their children, not exposing them to mental or physical harm. This 15 year old, is going to need theraputic help, and the mother is getting just what she deserves. But, to call herself a mother? No way! She may have told the man to use a condom, but, to allow this man to violate her 15 year old's body, could have been a costly mistake, even though this girl had been talking to him. Maybe I am being a little old fashioned here? But, I could never have done that to my daughters!!
