You know internet games like Asteroids,Breakout ,Fishy ,Cat Bowling ,Field Goal ,Penguin Ball and Penguin Shot.
 
Hmm... that might consume a lot of bandwidth if that was to be implemented. :dunno:

AllDeaf game site is still AllDeaf. Alex runs the server himself. It's up to him if he's willing to pay more just to allow extra bandwidth. I've seen other forums having games, but they later remove it because it's bandwidth-consuming.
 
I don't mind hosting some games here, but that depends how the games would be implemented in AD.

Any suggestions?

In other forums, I've seen "Top 10 Gamers" and other stuff. However, those other forums have too many games. I guess we could host up to 10 games and each month, we'll replace one game with another.
 
Yes I've seen it before but it messes with the forum database, I believe. If that's the case, it'll be a hassle whenever I have to upgrade my forum software since it will overwrite the custom configuration for the game system to work.

I'll look into this and see if there's a way to have the game system seperate from AD but at the same time communicate with the AD database so that only registered users can play.
 
you could get games that allows talking while playing? like yahoo does... just suggestion i dunno if it too big for bandwith or wahtever but hey u can limit 2 or 3 games and see how it goes?

Any suggestions or specific games you would like to see here?
 
u have to understand im only using yahoo games as an example.. i dont know about copyrights and such as...

what would be cool is to have pool, literati, and yahoo!graffiti.

go to www.yahoo.com... click on games... then look at games under "word games", and "arcade &other games"

those games are most used i think. Card games could be cool too but most of them are single player games
 
I clearly understand where you turn for your entertainment of playing games, more or less I was only interested in knowing what kind of games you'd like to see here despite the bandwidths, obtaining 'rights', etc...If members were to input what games they enjoy playing here, then the possibility of checking into these games to see if it is feasible to bring to Alldeaf.... ;)

I can only think of one game that might suit well with members here, although, I can't recall the 'name' of the game, but it's similar to the game: Pictionary although entirely done differently online.... :)

Hmm... that's group gaming. That's gonna be a lot of work and time-consuming. I'd think that individual games were better.
 
and see who gets the high score.. trying beatting eachother the highest points with other ADer members :D

agree with vamp ... too much bandwidth and
it will slow down the entire system here

hmm I liked the idea of invidual games and competion against other AD members and only that AD members could play. Something like umm... tetris, snake, and uh block or something like that... limit it to at least 5 games and see how it goes. Have the highest score and then highest score for the day... so that AD members could try to get to the highest score. How does that sound? That is if it isn't too much of a trouble? :)
