I just double-checked my bottles. The only name on the label is my PA. There is no doctor's name on it.

I guess I'm asking what "supervision" means. In all my time with my PA, I've never seen her talk to the doctor or get permission to do anything.

Filled at the VA? That does make a difference.

And, just because the PA's name is on the label doesn't mean that they are not under the direct supervision of an M.D. An intern can sign off, too, but they must be under the direct supervision of a physician, and the supervision contract for such is recorded at the state board.

The A in PA stands for assistant. That means that they only assist the physician, not function as a physician.

I just checked again ALl of mine were prescribed by my PA..Some have his name and some have the MDs name... :dunno:

edit....FIgured it out.....First time has PAs name. When refills were called in it has MDs name. Not sure if that is typical

I can honestly compare you to dirty/bad police officers.

At this point, I guess the point I am trying to get across to you is that from someone who is "so distinguished" I would expect better manners. Reba is the totem of example you should learn from.

Supervision means the same thing in this context as it means in any context.

So what if it was? If there were errors in fact, then there's nothing wrong with pointing them out.

That doesn't mean you have the right to impugn the character, motives, or mental health of a poster.

It takes two to make a trolling effort successful.

And another poster does not have the right to impugn the character, ethics, and motives initially. Not to mention those of an entire profession.

Supervision does mean different things in different contexts. That's why I'm asking for clarification in order to avoid misunderstanding.

There's so many wrong things with the system, its sickening. I dont know what to do about it. It needs a major overhaul.

How do they supervise your job?? To you have to get approval for every sign you translate?

Reba. I assume you are smarter than the average bear. :)

But will explain anyways. The Rx that are prescribed are monitored my the supervisor such as your conduct or actions at your job.
