I still remmy bit of 70s. My dad had sideburns...My parents used to play in a rock band, my mom would bang up this umm circle thing with cymballs on it. I don't remmy what it is called. I do remmy weird wide bell bottoms, plaid pants. They would sing, go bowling, drink, drink a lot, not drunk, I would wear asian dress (vietnam thing) with my hair all tied up in a ponytail on the top of my head. Mom would make me wear pigtails (on both sides), plaid dresses, pants or shirts.
I do remember my house, (built in 70s), we had red brick looking vinyl tiles in the kitchen and living room floor, carpet was light green then dark brown (came in 80s) along with dark colored furniture, couches was in kinda plaid... we had booger color looking sofa with oak posts attached to it. most of furniture was all oak which I guess it was so popular and cheap.
our kitchen was yellow, yellow refrigator, yellow oven range and hood, white counter had those little yellow flower looking on it along with stars on it. my aunt had red kitchen and my best friend had booger-olive green kitchen. I guess colors I have seen in kitchens were red, yellow, orange, brown, and olive green.
Early 80s was ribbons/bows barrettes...ribbons would be long enuff down to hold some beads. real real short Shorts with white stripes on it, tube socks with stripes on it, nike shoes like blue shoes with white stripes. hairstyles were wingbacks, long like facett.
late 80s.. oh boy, I do remmy, I did wear all colors of tube of socks like three at a time (later 80s). like aqua blue, green then white. it was a fad thing. Jammies shorts, wild colors, plastic/rubber braclets, would use up so much hairspray, lots of it where hair would stick up before mousee ever came. wild colors like neon colors. fold up bottom of pants like 50s rave. wear keds shoes.
90s. Was a preppy. rugby shirts, polo, jeans,.....
