Well I come down to visit my mother and I came back with a stray Lab mutt that my mother found on her doorstep. I dont know how old she is, but she's larger than my roomie's 3 month old English Mastiff puppy. My mother asked me to take the mutt off her hands as she got too many dogs around her farm including my Dalmatian. So I was more than happy to take the mutt home.

My daughter calls her "Hey Dog", but I named her "Sirius". That means "Dog Star" in Latin as part of the constellation system. My roomie's finally happy as her Dinah has company in Sirius.

Take a gander at the webcam shot of me and Sirius :)

Awww, That was very nice to offer to take the spray dog home and take care of her. ;) She is very lucky to have another chance at love and feeling pamper by a newest owner like yourself.

Have a great Christmas sablescort!

Awwwwwwwww that was a good thing you do to a stray dog. I would do that too. :D

Good luck with your cute dog. Be sure to take your dog to the vet for update.

Aw what a cute dog, you're a good man!!

awww.. I would love to have other one for our Rocky, hes seems want to PLAY ALL THE TIMES!!.. the reason why he is part of blue heeler cattledog.. my man said no..

I noticed that he doesnt play all the times, he chew things.. if he play alot with one of us.. he less get into trouble.. oh well hehe

Your dog is so adorable.. would love to have yours.. and thank you for bring him 2nd chance in your home.

Make sure a vet looks at him/her and scans for a microchip, as the owner is probably frantic about losing the dog. If no chip, make sure it gets ALL shots right away.

Did you have it checked at the vet? It could belong to someone else.

I remember my second dog. It was a stray dog. It was in the alley for a few days, so we took it with us to camp. It loved us immediately. We later took it to the vet to get tested. It turned out clean and no one claimed it. So, it became ours. :)

Sadly, she died years later... due to bone cancer. :(

You look like you are already in love with Sirus :)
I wish you many happy years ahead together :)

Thxs to everyone.... Its been like what 3 days since I brought Sirius home from my mother's. She seems to get along so well with my roomie's English Mastiff except wave a bone at 'em and its a free-for-all despite my having one bone for each dog!

She seems so much attached to me more than any other dog. However I have a long way to remind her not to try eating my laptop oftens! But otherwise she's an angel :) ....

My roomie and I are taking the girls over to the vet at the Petsmart to get the basics done (shots n worming).

About her status as stray. I have reason to believe she could have been abandoned by someone as it happens on farm areas where my mother lives, it has been common to abandon such dogs like that way. When Sirius 1st showed up on the doorstep, my mother cudnt find a collar, tattoo or any markings. She checked the lost-and-found ads and shelter came up no chip on Sirius. So she let me take her home and keep her.
