Well, God has a reason why he not answered ur prayers. U said "wanna, wanna, wanna" than say "need this and that".

Maybe God has a reason why he not answered ur prayer cuz of ur bitterness due to ur loss hearing etc and blame on God.

Look at the Bible, Psalms 66:18

"If I regard (keep or hold) iniquity (sin) in my heart, the Lord will not hear me".

Secondly of all your verse is very correct. Your explaining about why his prayer was failure and that is very wrongful information and I am required to correct you to prevent farther misinformation with you and RS's friends. It is better to clear up than spreading out the with wrong information.

RS, get realistic! It is God's decision whether to heal our ears to hear or not...it is His plan, His will..not ours!

Maybe God doesnt want you to be a millionaire for some reasons...or maybe you will someday...it would be nice for all of us to be rich, wouldnt it?

Perhaps, It is not God's will for you to marry Laura...or maybe it isnt right time for you to date her...

I read a thread somewhere else. It was a bunch of christians debating a Christian Idenity person. Those are the folks who say that the Jews are hellbound and that blacks and other people of color are mud races.
Something that someone wrote struck me.....He said that God does not look at the outside, but rather what's inside. He does not judge people on their skin color, or the fact that they may love someone with the same bits as them.
Crazymanwoot......I know you and Reba and the others are all "love the sinner hate the sin".......but it isn't even clear whether or not it's a sin at all.... How can showing my love for someone be a sin? I can clearly see how tons of other things in the Bible are sins, but Jesus Himself never ever said ANYTHING about homosexuality being "evil" or a sin......Jesus....the man who founded your religion....He said "Love your neighbor as your brother."
He also said "He who is without sin cast the first stone"
Only God knows whether or not being gay is a sin..... You cannot and should not harp on us being sinners.....We don't knock on your door screaming that you're sinning b/c you're making money to keep up with the Joneses, or that you're cheating on your wife or that you did any number of things that the Bible says is a sin.
I bet in a hundred years.....or maybe even SOONER most Christians won't even think twice about homosexuality and people will be like "huh? What the heck was the fuss all about?" just the way people of today are when they read about the fuss in the '60's about cilvil rights or when they read that people in the '30's and 40's were OK with Hitler b/c he was getting rid of the Jews!

Sadly, that may come true. Strong preaching is fading away, and homosexuality is becoming more and more "mainstream" and socially acceptable. That doesn't make it right, just popular.

Who are "They"? I think you should read more actual history books, not the "politically correct" versions. There was a very high percentage of white Christians that strongly preached against slavery, and supported underground railroads and anti-slavery movements across the United States (especially the Northeast) and in England. Black and white Christians, with their pastors and priests, marched together for civil rights. Many "mainstream" Christians risked and sacrificed their lives (the Righteous Gentiles) to save European Jews during the Holocaust. Next to American Jews, American Christians are the largest group of supporters of Israel.

Being black or being a Jew is not a sin. They should not be grouped with homosexuals. That is a red herring argument.

Yes, God judged people on their flesh of colors. Look scripture: Genesis 24:3 Abraham dont want his childern to marry to canaanites. Genesis 28:1, 6 Issac and his wife Rebakah did not want their sons take wife from daughters of canaanites. carefully look at 1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye are all the childern of Light and childern of the day and 1 John 1:5 God is light and in him is no darkness at all.

I know what Deafdyke is trying to do. She wants to lump all "Christians" into one Bible-thumping, hate-mongering, intolerant pile. She uses "they" because it is non-specific and therefore doesn't require proof. It is a convenient tool for avoiding specific evidence. It is commonly used for stereotyping people.
