Global Warming? Bunch Of Bull !!!

um, what are you raving about?

I guess you don't know what Global Warming really mean?

So, what do you expect?

They just went through a bunch of hurricanes. That's to be expected. Not every weather is 100% predictable.

Liberals should stop their macho jumbo hype talk. Leave the cars ALONE!! Stop making people pay $17.00 for auto emission testing. Auto emissions is just another way liberals are taking YOUR MONEY!

would someone please remind me why he was banned, again?

Try Utah... it costs more and then one has to pay the car tax (registeration) which is 10 times that amount. And Utah is not even controlled by the Democrats.

60 degrees is nothing compare in what we are having now, Some of us are having below 17 degrees. That is much colder than what you are having. :ugh2: So, stop whining for once and enjoy what you have down there, while we are freezing our buns off.

Global warming? BALONY

Do you know what global warming really means? Just because it is cold in Miami doesnt mean global warming is baloney. No connection there.

Global warming refers to an average increase in the Earth's temperature, which in turn causes changes in climate. A warmer Earth may lead to changes in rainfall patterns, a rise in sea level, and a wide range of impacts on plants, wildlife, and humans. But you don't see drastic changes overnight but you do already see damage in plants and wild life.

Earth has warmed by about 1ºF over the past 100 years. Do you realize that most of it is caused by human activities???

I found these tips on Intertnet that could help slow down the global warning. These are:

Save Electricity
Whenever we use electricity, we help put greenhouse gases into the air. By turning off lights, the television, and the computer when you are through with them, you can help a lot.

Bike, Bus, and Walk
You can save energy by sometimes taking the bus, riding a bike, or walking.

Plant Trees
Planting trees is fun and a great way to reduce greenhouse gases. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, from the air.

Recycle
Recycle cans, bottles, plastic bags, and newspapers. When you recycle, you send less trash to the landfill and you help save natural resources, like trees, oil, and elements such as aluminum.

When You Buy, Buy Cool Stuff

There are lots of ways we can improve the environment. One of the ways to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases that we put into the air is to buy products that don't use as much energy. By conserving energy, we help reduce global warming and make the Earth a better place. Some products – like certain cars and stereos – are made specially to save energy.

Some Things to Think About
Did you know that you can help the environment if you buy recyclable products instead of non-recyclable ones? Look for the recycle mark – three arrows that make a circle – on the package. Recyclable products are usually made out of things that already have been used. It usually takes less energy to make recycled products than to make new ones. The less energy we use, the better.

Solar Energy
Imagine that it's a hot summer day. You put a scoop of ice cream on the sidewalk, and it melts. Why? Well, you probably know that the sun causes the ice cream to melt. But you may not know that the sun produces solar energy. Solar energy is a fancy way of saying "energy that comes from the sun." Solar energy can be used to heat homes, buildings, water, and to make electricity. Today, more than 200,000 houses in the United States take advantage of the sun's energy.

Cars

Cars are an important part of life for most people. But cars also cause pollution and release a lot of greenhouse gases into the air. Fortunately, there are some cars that are better for the environment. These cars can travel longer on a smaller amount of gasoline. They don't pollute as much, either. Using these kinds of cars can help reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in the air.

ENERGY STAR®

Many things, like computers, TVs, stereos, and VCRs, have special labels on them. The label says "Energy" and has a picture of a star. Products with the ENERGY STAR® label are made to save energy. Buying products with ENERGY STAR® labels will help protect the environment.

I live near Miami, and it's cold by our standards, true.

But, it's STILL NOT cold! Get a grip, Steve, and go visit MN! You'll get a good definition of what COLD REALLY IS.

Made me lauff'n what RS said... First thread topic...

Actually he is cap-lid off for 1 minutes.. LOL

Gotta love'em!

If suppose he's here and would be juicer spill beans more and more.. (chuckles)
He need chill pill for 8 hours.. lol
oh well.. He's banned... Sad!

this is something i want to define here.

I know many of you will DISAGREE with me and i'm fine with it.

I believe that WE are not the ones that cause global warming.. i think its just a path of what god's plan. This earth isn't the only planet that's on global warming.. there's also another planet is experiencing global warming such as mars.. here's a link.

My sole belief is that all planet is getting closer to sun. when the time is done.. god decides when... science cannot measure how far is earth to sun from 30 years between because it can be only a few angstroms in length..

100,000,000 angstroms = 1 cm

Yeah I think nobody know what they are talking about...

We had Ice Age, long long long long long, thousands or millions of years
ago!!!!!!! And all those ice melted long before we had cars, tv, newspaper,
electricity and everything else!!!!!!
Explain to me why the Ice Age is no longer exist, should we blame
the Indians!!!!??
Hey Indians, what did you do to cause Global warming????
Do you blame the Cavemen, hey, why the ice melting????

This Earth Globe has been warming for a long long time...
and it isn't our fault!!!!!

Dammit, Ravensteve is right!!!!

No matter what we do to try to save this planet, it still
gonna warm up and yes... northpole and southpole will disappear....
Yes the glacier in Alaska is melting...
Yes... but it isn't our fault.

I bet one day... this world will turn back to ice age again... maybe
later... but not now.
