Fur coats

Hmm.. possum hats.. do they come with the tail intact? :P

It makes me uncomforable to see people wear those thick fur coats. But some might be faux fur which is a good alternative in my opinion. Ok, I just saw Bambi the movie the other day.. poor Bambi's mother.
 
I never bought real fur because to me its look ugly on me.

Real fur jacket is not fashionable for a long time.

Even though I don't subscribe to everything they believe, animal cruelty is a major no-no.
 
I don't like wearing any furs because like some of you guys heard, animals are beaten, mulitated and skinned alive and using the furs for profits. There's several graphic videos in peta.org sites that shows not only china, but everywhere in the world did to those animals. We ought to stand up and speak for the animal rights and we need animals for the world and not use them for profits and foods.

Also not only people wear furs, there is also stuffed animals (for childrens) that are also made from real animals thats another thing that bothers me. I've had several stuffed animals when I was a kid, so now I get to understand clearly why.. It's those inhuman people doing those kind of thing just for profits.

It just sickens me to hear and see people doing this in the world. It's EVERYWHERE!! Government doesn't give a hoot about it, its all about greedy. *sigh*
 
It doesn't bother me. Everybody who screams about "killing animals for their fur" should look at themselves - do you eat meat? That's killing an animal for your stomach. What's the difference? Look at leather - that's from an animal too! Do you wear leather pants? Jackets? Shoes? There's no difference between wearing a leather coat and a fur coat. I have a pair of seal-skin mukluks, and I LOVE them.

Besides, 90% of fur nowadays comes from farmed animals. My Grandpa used to raise minks.
 
I dislike some fur coat made from wild animals like lion,tiger,dog,bears ....
It's okay with me if fur coat is made from cow,goat etc

You have no idea what they do to those animals, Have you watched the HBO, in China what they did to animals for fur? You'll think twice before saying what you said above. They actually skin the animals while they are still alive, You can see them struggling in pains! It was horrible. I guess you have to watch it to feel the emotional behind it all.

Yes me either... My hubby bought me a silver fox fur coat with fox´s leg on it for Xmas gift 3 months after our wedding in 1985. ´ Fashionable time between 1980 and 1990. It´s warm to wear it during cold winter... I feel uncomfortable when I noticed the people stared me and leave it in cupboard at basement :Oops: .... I haven´t touch it for 15 years now.

I know nobody want to buy my silver fox coat since everyone learn that it´s animal cruelty...

Oh yeah! I used to wear rabbit fur coat before I was married... That´s fashionable was around... until my hubby gave me silver fox fur coat for Xmas gift after 3 month wedding... I still have rabbit fur coat at attic and silver fox fur coat and seal fur coat (my hubby´s 90 years old great Aunt who left her long Seal fur coat & hat to me after she died in 2000 but I still refused to touch long seal fur coat so I put seal fur coat to cupboard where I leave silver fox fur coat at basement)... Great Aunt wear Seal fur coat during fashionable time between 1920 and 1940.
 
:Oops: I decorate Great Aunt´s fox fur scarf in 1st living room... See the picture.. I use 1st room as Scottish hunt style... It´s Great Aunt´s wish to leave her fur coat, hat & fox fur scarf to us, not everyone. I left her seal fur coat in basement... I decorate fox fur scarf accord my hubby´s wish to remember Great Aunt...






Great Aunt wore fox fur scarf between 1920 and 1930 at fashionable time... You can see picture of a lady wore fox fur scarf in 1930...

Yeah, I noticed many farmers use cow, sheep, deer, boar, goat, etc. to hang on the wall as decoration. I don´t like it.

I have real goat fur mat but I leave it at garage because I don´t like it anymore.

My mother-in-law gave me wild boar fur mat for hang on the wall as Xmas present... They thought it would match my 1st living room but I leave it in cupboard with furs, etc. in the basement...

You might be able to have the fur coats re-cut into fur bed or sofa throws. Those are popular and cozy.

Yep... :Oops: Fox died looonnnggg time ago... It could be between 1920 and 1930 where Great Aunt wore in fashionable time...
