Fur coats

I assume that people who refuse to wear fur also refuse to wear leather.
I know what you mean.

I don't have a fur coat but I do have a leather jacket. I am sure there are lots of people who are against fur coats have leather jackets, purses, shoes, etc in their closets. Leather come from animals too.

 Accord Animal protection law, they are not allow to do that to animals like this.

First is shot them or whatever until they are died then they do anything with animals what they wants.

Cow, sheep, wild boars, foxes, deer etc... are dead while they skin them.

You have no idea what they do to those animals, Have you watched the HBO, in China what they did to animals for fur? You'll think twice before saying what you said above. They actually skin the animals while they are still alive, You can see them struggling in pains! It was horrible. I guess you have to watch it to feel the emotional behind it all.

Maybe in China they do it that way but my Grandpa always killed his minks humanely (gunshot between the eyes - swift, no pain, no "emotional" as you call it.) Again I ask - do you ever wear leather shoes? Wear a leather coat? Carry a leather purse? Sit on a leather couch? Animals are killed for that too you know.

I see nothing wrong with wearing fur or leather as our forefathers has been doing this for a long time and whats wrong with wasting fur/skin if we can use it for some good purpose?

Yes I dont condone poachers just taking hides or ivory for profit but what I'm talking about is the animals that we domesticate such as rabbits, cows, pigs? Its no different from what we eat everyday, we eat the meat, we also eat the bones in gelatin (jell-o) or its used to make glue and so on etc..

PETA is so overrated sometimes as I remember they tried to make bikers give up their leather duds...

leather is a pratical and natural way to protect our own skins from different situations like the bikers use those leather to protect themselves from getting nasty scraps if they took a fall from the bikes...there are always videos of slaugherhouses doing horrible things to the animals but also we need to keep in mind that those things will always happen as we are cruel to each other also did anyone consider that it could have been taking places in different parts of the world and not United States as we have very strict guidelines?

get my drift?

FYI, China did sold some fur that they did to those animals in United States, Like I said, Some of you have to watch that horror HBO Special. It took United States a long time to banned those furs from shipping in the United States. But, Don't say it doesn't happen anymore, because people still sell drugs in United States too from another countries. Nothing is prevented.

Yike , I'll have to remind myself never mess with your grandfather

My ex husband hunts deers/bucks, the last time he went, he had to shoot the buck deer so many times until it finally fall on the ground, I still can remember the looks on the deer's face, it was something I could never do, or even try to kill an animal, when he brought the deer home he use a hook to hang the deer's body on a tree branch, and use a knife to skin the deer's fur off his body, I couldn't stand for a second and watch him do that even through the deer was already dead but I remember I kept yelling at him to stop doing that, cause it was so gross... :Ohno:

My oldest son now goes hunting, and when he got his first deer and my first question was, " did the deer suffered?..."

I am not sure but since we commercially produce meat from various animals I think there is skin that is naturally left over ,and that is where the leather ware comes from- lambskin, pigskin, I am sure cow's skin is being used for something.

Might as well not waste these poor animals skin that is left over.

I would not ask for wild animal fur or skin or , though.

I believe we also have TOO MUCH meat at the stores and I don't care if it is not "organic". Change the feed, don't kill any more animals.

Yes, but we don't eat dog or cat meats and China only need their skin for furs. :(

well I've heard about China horrific treatment of animals, and I believe they do eat dogs and cats.

I'd rather they didn't..

Double standard for me to judge them, I do not like to see them wear fur coat but I wear leather shoes and eat meats. Point finger back to me.
