Ethanol increase in gas backed by EPA

Like I said, before anybody do it, research is being done in this area. There's a bunch of stuff to consider. I never said people are doing it now. It was just one of the proposed ways when I came across it.

Man, I wish I'm that smart enough to make the magic bullet to solve all of the energy problems. Hydrogen energy. Cold fusion, etc. LOL! LOL!
I wish you could, too. :)

Then what happens after all the energy problems are solved? This planet would become overpopulated in a few generations and once that happens we'd be in a worse position than ever.

Solving energy problems is only part of the challenge we face in the future generations.

Some parts of the planet are already overpopulated because the environment cannot sustain the people who live there. It is not like this as much in the US and other industrialized nations because we have the resources (for now).

the solution is already here. problem is... we don't want it. the simplest and the cheapest solution ever.

it's called conservation :)

We don't like conservation in the US. We have always been land of plenty. Many people drive gas-guzzling SUVs who don't really need that size of vehicle. It's a mind-set of the legacy of our successes as a nation.
