First Gilligan, and now Maxwell Smart—Agent 86 of CONTROL. Don Adams died yesterday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 82. That was my favorite show when I was a kid. I’ve seen every episode so many times that could recite the entire dialog of some of them by heart. So long Max—R.I.P.

yea, he was really a funny n goofy spy in spy world. i enjoyed watching that show.

Whoa... that sucks!

I loved his shows. I remember his anniversary made-for-TV movie. It was interesting how he tried to apply his old-time technology with the modern world. It was funny. Heh!
 
I don't know who he is, but may he rest in peace....
 
wow I feel so old.... all the stars I used to watch long ago are dying.

Don Adams was the star of a classic 1960’s sitcom called Get Smart. It was truly one of the greatest camp sitcoms of all time, if not the greatest.
 
I am sorry to hear about Don Adams of "Get Smart"......he was so good on that show! :) My favorite part of the series was the very beginning (where the credits are)....when he kept locking all of those doors. :)

RIP Don....my sympathies to his family. :(

He was one of wonderful Actor... I have always watch Get smart I remember these days.. Dang... Sad that hes gone but at least he's no longer in pain or suffering...

Well at least it wasn't Mel Brooks....who BTW is my HERO!
Never really got into Get Smart but love every thing else Mel Brooks....oh and the guy's name reminded me of a gas station sign near where I live, that says; Don Adams gas.....feel secure with dePANDAble service.
 
i used to love that show too!!! esp his SHOE WITH A PHONE!!! :lol:

i am SO SAD to see that BBNT'S LONG LOST TWIN has passed on :tears:

RIP DON ADAMS!!! :( we lost another great actor :sadwave:

i loved his show and I missed him so much! i always like his partner, 99. ;)
 
Good news...

They're making a new movie called Get Smart. This is just in time to honor his memory. :thumb:

Guess who's making the movie? Mel Brooks! Yep, the guy who's well-known for his parody movies. Heh!
