I have always had a fake tree but I think I will go for a real tree this year. What about you guys?

Should the poll includes "both?" I chose both. Becuz it doesn't matter whether it's an artificial tree or real tree. Either way, I use 'em. ;)

I prefer real trees because that way, cats won't climb onto it.

It doesnt matter to have a fake or real tree. I don't mind to have a real tree at my place, but I did not want to make it messy so I just got a fake christmas from my brother that he don't need it anymore since he got a real tree this year. Hehe save my money!

:dunno: I heard real tree catches fire.

But I like fake tree, it is cheaper.

Um... real trees... yeah... they can catch on fire all right. After all, that's where the fire woods come from. ;-)

Fake trees, they still can catch on fire but they are fire-retardant meaning it slows down the progress of catching onto fire but still will happen anyway.

REAL! I love the smell of those trees and looks more natural. I haven't had christmas tree in a LONG time, last time we had christmas tree several years ago when I lived with my parents. There's a nation's christmas tree...this is General Grant tree (3rd largest Sequoia tree)

I prefer fake tree reason can repeatly anything you want every year..

I dislike buying real tree.. Hassle tree spikes falling down on the carpet.. feeding watery.. *ugh* drag tree out of house.. *vaccuming* (goosebumps) hassle.. plus expense real xmas tree every year 20 to 50 bux.. ridcouisly...

Fake tree buy at once.. anytime you can use it every year.. Save my pocket.. :D

I prefer fake trees, because you only purchase it once and keep it as long you want. But, I also like real trees because of the smell of pine, but that type of trees start on fire easier than fake trees unless you don't watering it enough. This year I am buying a real tree because I never purchase one before my twin sister did and her whole house smell like pine. It's a nice smell especially on Christmas Day. ;)

fake tree.. cuz it lasts longer than real tree ;) mom usually put smelling pine in box so it'll smell when we get it out to set it up out in family room blah.. ;)

I like fake. I am allergic to real pine tree. *aaaaachooo* Sorry.. *blow nose * fog horn* And Fake tree is you can keep for life and no worry about spending money on a real tree every year. And no worry about watering the tree.

Real tree! Growing up, we would go out to the wood to chop a tree down and bring home. It never costed us any money. However, nowadays, we just go to a tree farm and chop our tree down. Right now, I live in the capital city, so it's hard to do that. A friend donated a tree to our family last year, but this year, I think we will buy a tree.

All the mess never really bothered me. Fake trees can be as messy if you put a lot of tinsels on it.

I been use fake christmas tree, would like to have real one, since smell good but messy. But i can't have it anyway, my boyfriend is allergy to it :(

I prefer real pine tree from Mora, NM... they look & smell beautiful. This year I'm using fake tree becuz my apt is small and gonna spray pine scent spray on it LOL

For those of you who have fake trees, but like the smell of pine, just go to the nearest live tree lot and ask the guy there for a few branches from trees they trim & throw away. Then you can lay them on your mantle or get some thin wire and make yourself a wreath to hang on your door or a table centerpiece.
