Arkansas #11. No way. More like #45. There are way too many hillbillies who spend more time looking for mudbugs than shooting people. Lol!

I'm glad to see my state, Minnesota, isn't even on the top 25 worst ! :)

It ought to be on the list just for Minneapolis. Inner city Minneapolis is so disgusting and very dangerous. There are NO affordable apartments in Minneapolis, period. I know because I did attempt to find a nice little apartment at a reasonable rent rate in Minneapolis but all they had was a one-room place with no bathroom nor bathtub/shower and no kitchen appliances or anything, just one room. And the whole building shares one bathroom with shower/tub. One for the whole building. Ew. I saw the bathroom, the tub was caked in dirt, and the toilet was caked in poop. Gross. The landlord wanted $800/month for this. I said, hell no! Yuck! And I saw what kind of people lived there...hookers. I cringed. I and my friend sprinted out of there as fast as possible. The whole building smelled of piss. There wasn't any nice places for even $800 and even for $1000. I love Minneapolis but their ghettos and their apartments are so disgusting.

I'm out here in the East Coast and I'm hating Minneapolis already. The new CEO doesn't like our city so he already took half of the headquarter where my husband work at to Minneapolis (the city he love). Promised that he won't take the whole company to Minneapolis but I don't believe him. He already made the decision to outsource my husband's old department (Praise God! My hubby got promoted weeks before any of this was happening) I just hope another CEO will take his place and will love our hometown. It's the only headquarter we have. My husband is all prepare to move to Minneapolis or find a new job if the CEO keep shredding the company apart.

I know...that "making a difference" is happening less and less as parents are not really appreciative but critical these days. Sorry, that's the truth. That's why I strongly believe in the quote I have in my signature.

I absolutely agree with you. Parents are responsible for their children's education. They need to get involved, instead of just using the school as daycare/childcare.

If you both are able to drive, you still have options if you and your hubby end up moving there. You can find a nice place for about $700 in Brooklyn Park. That's where my sister used to live before she went back into the military. She had a 2 bedrooms place. Brooklyn Park is a suburb of Minneapolis, close enough that your husband can commute. Just DO NOT MOVE to MINNEAPOLIS. Minneapolis is great for festivals, socializing, clubbing, but really bad for apartments. You're just better off commuting. Trust me.

Interesting....funny thing, I haven't yet seen a violent crime activity with my own eyes since my residence here in WA. It seems WA is basically in between safe and dangerous.

The 50 states ranked in order from most dangerous to safest:
1. Nevada
2. Louisiana
3. South Carolina
4. New Mexico
5. Florida
6. Tennessee 7. Alaska
8. Arizona
9. Maryland
10. Michigan
11. Arkansas
12. Georgia
13. Alabama
14. California
15. Texas
16. Oklahoma
17. Delaware
18. North Carolina
19. Missouri
20. Illinois
21. Washington
22. Kansas
23. Ohio
24. Mississippi
25. Indiana

I guess they forgot about Gary. Gross. I and a friend were driving from MN to Ohio for a conference and we had to stop off at a motel as my friend was about to fall asleep and I didn't want her falling asleep at the wheel. We ended up in a small motel in Gary. That was gross. Never again.

Im feeling sick today :( been up most of the night with stomach pains and feeling sick, i am meant to be at nursery placement today but dont feel I can go in in while I feel like this, i missed a day 2 weeks ago too, i hope they dont think im slacking off.

Camden, NJ=Epic Fail! Jiro, you live in NJ so you have one of the most America's dangerous city. Tell the govt of NJ to clean that up for us. :mad2:

It progressively got worse from the 1960's to present, you can see how the house deloriated on the right of the picture.

what is all that dirt.. is that flooding

actually it doesn't look too bad.. I have lived in places like that. except the cage. The cage is very telling! it does need more greenery.

Maybe there was a record flooding during that time?

Yep, it does really need some green space. It's dead bare!
