God established marriage, that marriage become sexual purity. That is one wife and one husband or say the opposite sex, but instead we have so many strong influences of sex everywhere we face. And sex becomes perverted of ALL kinds. Tho it said, when see sex inpurity of sex, flee from it. But bad thing is, its every corner. God loves us all, but does not condone any of our behaviors. Sadly, many want to hear to make them feel better or condone the behavior to be nuetral of it. But understand, there will be a time, when the society going overboard and He will say, its gone to far and my people (christians) have condone and compromise their behaviors and judgement will comes. Those of you who are christians, who struggle whatever your weaknesses is, don't fall the deciet of man's teaching and kneel and ask God for guidance and wisdom, and yes, its hard firey battle. If you fail, don't give up, keep your mind on the goal of what Christ called you to do. We are living in dark nation now. Sins is overwhelming and cause us to face big challengin, not against people, but satanic forces are major attack against us those who are a believer in Christ. That's modern speculation. There is no Scriptural basis for that interpretation, however. You want to believe that is the case because it would strengthen your argument, but if you go and actually read the story, no, that interpretation has no basis on Scripture. Actually, by the text of Genesis, I'm inclined to believe that the reason was the lack of good manners and hospitality of the people in Sodom. The fact that they offered the angels (female) virgins to sleep with just because they were visiting is somewhat telling of the moral sickness the people of Sodom were under.

And about Noah its like Jesus said, like Noah, the judgement will come on this earth, but not the flood, its far worse. Jesus is like our Ark to save us from the wrath of God.

You lack the knowledge of history to make judgements about the decline or growth of the world and you lack the intelligence to realise that you must be knowledgable about a topic before you can discuss it.

You only think the nation is deteriorating because you lack the knowledge and wisdom to understand otherwise. You want to believe that the past was somehow fancifully better than the present due to nostalgia. If you could go back and experience the past, you would find that it was no better then than it is now. But you can't, so you let your lack of wisdom allow you to make foolish judgements on the state of the world as it is now.

The term 'Seperation of Church and State' is a term that is up for debate and interpretation. Since when as our federal goverment (post Constitution) made a state religion...and require its people to practice that religion? The goverment has never told me what religion I am required by law to practice. At one time, our colonies were required by law to practice a faith, and our founding fathers addressed that issue when the constitution was written.

There is no Church and State to seperate as the state does not tell us what church we must adhere to.

The issue here is that the people in the government who adhere to a particular church try to make the law of the states to adhere to church laws. Now, if church laws were all the same regardless of church, then there wouldn't be a problem, but since churches all have wildly different laws, there is an issue. Buddhists don't want to be required to embrace theism on Friday any more than Christians want to be forced to adhere to Kashrut.

The issue isn't separation of church and state, it's whether or not the government making religiously-motivated laws that alienate another religion constitutes a violation of the First Amendment.
