Man Offended After Finding Curse Words On Drive-Through Receipt

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A California man got more than he bargained for during a recent trip to Burger King -- profanity on his receipt.

"Actually I am embarrassed, it's humiliating," customer Francisco Perez said.

After spending $9.22 on a double Whopper with cheese, onion rings and a small drink at the Arden Way Burger King earlier this week, Perez looked down at his receipt and saw the words "f--- you" on it -- not once, but twice.

"So, I showed the guy and he just kind of laughed," Perez said. "There was no 'Sorry, we'll fix it.'"

The restaurant supervisor confirmed the two employees listed on the receipt work there, but insisted the profanity was not intentional.

Supervisor Blong Xiong said the incident was "not acceptable" and planned to speak with the store manager about it.

Perez still ate his food that day, but said he'll likely never return.

"This is a professional business, and I go get a bite to eat and this is what I get," he said. "I don't find it funny at all."

It's not funny.

Employees represent a business. Therefore, they should act accordingly. Those two clowns better thank the stars above that they didn't disrespect a disabled person or someone deaf. Otherwise, there may have been something a little more involved then disrespect. Not sure of this applies, but possibly a discrimination suit?

If it is not intentional, then what the hell is it?

Nice way to represent the business.

Fire the employees whose names are on the receipt. Matter attended to, and situation over.

Wirelessly posted

Wow that's shoddy service. I've never been to a BK or ate at a BK. growing up the smell of BK was very off-setting for me. /le gag

No biggie.
It reminds me of the time long ago I wrote to a newspaper:

Dear Editor:
You suck. A lot.
A Reader

And I got the reply:

Dear Reader:
Fuck you.

Classic.

Why not write back on the reciept saying

"Suck me" and then give it back to the employees?

Why discrimination?

That phrase can be applied to any customer... regardless of race, religion, or handicap.

This deeply offends me, because when I go to Burger King, the first thing that comes to my mind is "classy."

My world has now been thrown into chaos.
