Build Noah's Ark!!!!

My friend told me about two people, and I never thought about it.

Imagine that there is a military helicopter in the air, and a pilot saw two men standing on the top of their own house with flood around the houses. A black man and other guy is white. Which one do you think that the pilot is going to pick?

Tell us why? Does he looks a criminal?

Why does the pilot have to pick just one?

Color has nothing to do with military rescue. They either rescue the most endangered first, or they rescue both at the same time.

It is a just stupid story. Of course, they should rescue them. I just want to see how their react of this story.

they should ask, "Who want to go first?"
Or toss coin...

And not judge on race.

They don't judge on race here. People are responsible for making sure their name is on the list. If their name is on the list, they are evacuated out. Simple as that. Race is never a factor in who stays or is evacuated.

Oceanbreeze and RJR2006,

I hope that both of you are very brave and great wise to be with your family or friends when next tragic event occur in future. Next time, do not stay at home/shelter alone and please get out immediately...
i watch weather channel all the time. I am living with my family for a year then I am off to college on my own. There are 24 hours and if I plan to live on my own after college, I would use TIME WISELY and plan way ahead with my PCA in case if the storm, blizzard, or hazardous weather is coming to my area. Oceanbreeze, we will never give up and weather is very important for everybody and plan ahead of the time

Oh no. I just checked the weather satellite map update for atlantic ocean:

http://www.weather.com/maps/maptype/satelliteworld/atlanticoceansatellite_large.html

That would be Tropical Storm Maria, and she is NOT expected to affect the United States.

Updated: 11:22 AM EDT
No Threat Yet From Tropical Storm Maria

MIAMI (Sept. 3) - Tropical Storm Maria was gathering energy from warm ocean water in the open Atlantic on Saturday but posed no immediate threat to land.

At 11 a.m. EDT, the storm had maximum sustained wind of 60 mph - up 10 mph from early morning - and was centered 770 miles northeast of the northern Leeward Islands, about 835 miles southeast of Bermuda.

It was moving northwest, a track that could take it east of Bermuda, at 15 mph, forecasters said.

Maria would be the season's fifth hurricane if its sustained wind speed reaches 74 mph.

Maria is the 13th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, one of the busiest on record. Historically, only about four or five named storms form by this time of year, according to the hurricane center. Peak storm activity typically occurs from the end of August through mid-September.

The season began June 1 and ends Nov. 30.

You realize that many military helicopter pilots are black, right?

What are the ratio of black and white?
I don't know.

I also forgot to mention that some of the pilots are women.
