Been out of action...

OK gophers..if ya been wondering where I been the last several days.. I been out of action.. due to a nasty cold that got my heart beating weird and I did feel my heart beat with a watery way. ehh... dont ask me to describe that.. anyways Saturday morning I woke up feeling so lousy, throat was painful from the heart beating boom boom and stomach was hurting.. I had to drive myself to the local hospital (did left a note for my 3rd brother who was coming that day) and had to be hooked up to IV and had blood drawn a few times.. I did get released around 9 pm and went home to pick up my clothes as my 3rd brother had to get me to his place for a few days... now I am home presently and I feel a bit better but will have a followup with my doc tomorrow.... phew... I probably wont be active much due to my stomach being a bit bloated and hard time breathing when walking (outside and also up and down the stairs at home) .. I do hope this will go away soon so I can be normal once again... ack... now I gotta watch myself for a while... and be more careful with my activities what with the farm auction this Saturday... oy... gonna be doing some stuff that wont tax me so much.. lol.. now ya all know where I been the last several days...
 
So sorry to hear that you've been sick. :(

NS, I sure hope you get well soon. I Wish was closer to keep an eye on you .. Do watch yourself and plenty of rest. :hug:

Thanks, gophers.... I am glad to be home and resting easy.. got a followup appt this afternoon with doc... ahh hopefully he will tell me the results of the blood tests or so... and I did sleep okay only to wake up with pain in shoulders (both ones!!) and thought to myself oy vey must be all these years I been sleeping on my sides too often... both shoulders are good but some pain remain that I can manage... whew... now to take it easy and do some work, get the mail and etc... I'll feel better in the next few days for sure but that nasty head cold sure is annoying as hell for me.. I hope I dont get that again this summer or it gonna be disasterous for sure...

I hope the doc has good news and do let me know ok? Take it easy and get plenty of rest. I will take on LBG's advice haha be your nurse :naughty:
 
Oh man!! U just like my good friend, when he has bad health plms...something I cant spell but it is something for men's thing lol sorry... anyway he, himself, drove to ER at the hossy! Pls do be careful urself and take it easy!! Glad u seem okay so far!! Hope things go well from DR if good news, that is!

Keep well and get better tho!
 
i have been wondering about ya... glad you're feeling a bit better... but are you feeling much better today?
 
OK gophers.. thanks again for the comments....

I went to the doc to ask about my blood work..he told me all is good but that did show the infection somehow.. ah.. also I did ask about why my stomach seems to be bloated.. doc ordered a chest xray which I did today.. will go see doc again tomororw for the result (I found out via the phone call display which showed the clinic's number at around 4:30 pm while I was catching up to some hockey games which I had missed on the weekend..OY!!!!) So tomorrow gonna see the doc and maybe he do have the xray result or not.. hmm... hope it's all nothing...

I will pray for you about the results from the chest x-ray and the stomach bloat. :fingersx: everything is in good health.
 
Ahh no wonder that where u have been missing in action being unwell and glad to know ur getting there but take it slowly and take one step at a time and im sure u will recover in time.

Keep us updated of ur latest doc appt and will be thinking of u and wish u a speedy recovering and hope to see you back in action giving us all a hard time especially ur fav mate Cal. Loves seeing u two having the fun of ur life and bringing in the laughters into our lives.

:wave: Welcome back Northie. I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick, I've had mine already too recently, now my boys are having the same flu that I had.
