heh vamp....if u love to have that Jeep Hurricane....be prepared cuz I just saw pics of the Hurricane "chasing its own ass" since it has 4 wheel steering in addition to 4x4! Also ya gotta have a very fat wallet since the Hurricane has TWO Hemi V-8 motors in it making it a 16 cyl motor!
Sadly is that DCX (parent of Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler and Mercedes) won't build the Hurricane, but they will consider making copies of the Jeep Gladiator truck. and perhaps unleash the new Chrysler Firepower since its more cheap to build the Firepower than last year's ME-412 (after all the Firepower is just a Viper...lol)
Ford is considering building the Shelby GR-1 to replace the Ferrari-killer Ford GT since the Ford GT will not pass the new rear-end crash rules from the US government in 2007. Instead of the GT's blown 5.4 V8, the GR-1 may use a V-10 so it can challenge the new ZO6 Corvette and the Viper SRT-10 for American supremacy.
This year's Detroit show isn't that pretty good since there are not much of concept cars showing up there unlike last year. However next up's Chicago Auto show where I hear that Dodge will unveil a "Mega Cab" 2006 Ram truck to take on the full size 4 door trucks from Ford and Chevy.
The Aston-Martin DBR9 race car looks really fantastic! I think Aston-Martin built the race car so they can come back to the 24 hour LeMans race in France this June. However the DBR-9 will have to race against the new Corvette C-6R, Saleen S7, Ferrari 575M Maranello, and the new Viper GTS-R coupe. The last time Aston-Martin won the 24 hour LeMans race was in 1959 and the driver for Aston-Martin was......Carroll Shelby, the man behind the Cobra, Shelby Mustangs, and the new Ford Shelby GR-1. (BTW Carroll Shelby is still alive and kicking at 80 years old with a heart transplant)
