Are any of you going Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving?

No, I don't feel like fighting the crowds. If I venture out, it certaintly won't be to the malls. Good luck to anyone that does!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! I hate shopping especially during holidays. I'm not in the mood to fight off crazed folks tmrw!

Yes, Roadrunner and I are going shopping tomorrow, and I will be sure to bring my horn with me ;)

the day after holiday can be a mess, I would rather not to take kids with us, then again If we do go shopping, I would at least try to avoid going to MALL cuz it can be soo packed! and My dearly husband and I HATE to shopping so I have no idea what we will do this year... Either I will do online shopping or at the plaza instead of mall If I feel up to do it... and DEFINETLY will not be during nights or weekend!

Oh boy Christmas shopping rush is a nightmare for me at Wal-Mart. :dizzy: The store gets packed with shoppers that there is almost no breathing space. The parking lot is full geez we will have to park next to restaurant about a trek from the corner of parking lot to the store. The traffic is a nightmare too, backing up nearly a mile and half. Oh yep, the accounting office is deathly busy with heaps of dollars continuously coming in. :eek2:

Yesss...I will be going out shopping tomw. with ^Angel^ and we'll just simply plow down the crowds...something I've avoided for years knowing it can be a big pain to not only fight your way in the stores, but the traffic too...sooo...it'll be darn tootsie-sweet of Cheri to watch our boys while we're out trying to survive the mayhem at the stores!!

Btw, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

i have to go into town for three things so yes i ll be fighting the shoppping traffic but i have to work the afternoon shift. SO will just go and then come back and go to work then thats it ( prays my truck gives me a peaceful drive it broke down yesterday RME !

I second that, Saline Eyes. I'm also not one who's brave enough to encounter the crowds. I'll leave that up to the ones who far braver than I am.

Am not going shopping at all - not shopping for any Xmas gifts...until maybe a week before Xmas. Only for my DH and nieces and nephews. That's it! :D

I'm not doing any Christmas shopping until I get back to Texas. If I get some gifts now, the airports are gonna make me open them to prove that they are harmless before allowing me to take them with me. I could ship them, but that would cost me a lot more. :(

LOL! a horn?? wont do! not even if you yell "Fire!"...the crowd will just even ignore that...haha...i never went shopping day after Thanksgiving, not since
back in the 80's, i learned the hard way so never again..its too crazy and kind of dangerous too!!..

My Dad has one of those horn that sounds just like horn in your car but louder much louder , I could hear it myself It makes hearing people jumpy when you use it. That would be a good idea taking that shopping with you. :D

last night at around 10pm my mom and I went to Wal Mart to get some x mas stuff for house, parking lot was almost full but lucky my mom found a spot on side of the store. I got my grandparent something.... I'll do x mas shopping sometimes during the daytime when I don't have class at Mall of America, WalMart, and some other stores as well. I'm not taking risk to go shopping a day after t-giving in early am hours. Its not bad like early hours..

Yesterday We went Christmas shopping at Walmart, Target, and Game shop at 6 am until 11 am since there was a 5 hours super sale, boy the parking was horrible at the time we arrived at Walmart but at Target we got there at 6 am when they were starting to open....it ws perfect cause the line was not that long....Good thing to go when it first open otherwise you are stuck in line for an hour.....Walmart was like that by the time we got there around 8 or so, some people sure don't have much patient since I seen a few of them getting pissy over others who were in their way...Yike!

I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping, I only have three more people to buy then I'm doneeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........

Next we will be shoppping for a real Christmas tree, yeah we always get the real ones since we love the smell of it....

Btw, the horn did work LOL I'm just pulling your legs here :bump:
