I'm a member on ebay too, It's so much fun bidding. :giggle: I've won two items so far. ;) and lost one on purpose because it was too high for me to go over, I let the other buyer win.

Yea ofc, but I hate one thing is I work graveyard shift and always miss bid any items on eBay during the day... I spent alot on eBay, ha... Depend on item, if its important to me and very rare, then I will bid alot cost that I dont care how much cost... If easy find and I will let someone else to win cuz I am too good bidder ;)

I often use Amazon to look up items before I look to buy it elsewhere.

For instance, if a friend says... "Whoa, check out this new DVD that they just came out with!"

I could check Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, or other websites... but they take long. So, I just look it up quickly on Amazon. If I see it and want to buy it, then I'll research the price on other websites. If I don't want it, I'm done. :)

Or read reviews to see if what you want is good or worthless piece of shit.

I mostly ordered books from amazon and read reviews on their website before buying stuffs at local stores.

Yeah, I prefer to buy in stores since online shipping fees are outrageous. Heh!

yeah I never trust to do some shopping online cuz I got few scam emails that some people wanted me to pay up for paypal acct that i never really resgistered for.. but that all stopped since last year I don't know what happened since then ;)

Oh really? I haven't had a problem with ebay so far, I've even got my two shipping that I won a bid on, they turn out more beautiful than what the picture appears to be on ebay. ;)

It's not the websites' fault for the scams.

Remember, anytime you get email regarding problems with your account... go to the site yourself, don't click on the link in the email.

For instance, you get an email supposedly from PayPal saying that you have a problem with your account and need you to "click here" to fix it. Don't click on it... open a separate window and type in the URL yourself. That's secure.

A friend of mine recently ordered a Nintendo 64 from Amazon. Turned out that it was an European version. Now, she can't get a hold of the person who sold it to her. Luckily, I fixed it so that it will play American games. :thumb:

I order from amazon frequently (too frequently<GRIN>) - no problems. If you are ordering books or some other things, don't forget to check out the used items! I ordered an out-of-print book for 0.01 - yes one cent, plus $3.99 for shipping. It was in great shape - near new condition for a 30-year old book. Other sites were selling the same book for over $100.

I tend to compare prices with amazon, and e-bay before buying.
