AD Moving...Again

Within the next 48 hours there will be some downtime while I move AllDeaf to a new 2.4 Dual Xeon/2GB RAM Dell Power Edge server.

That being said, if you have any files/images hosted under AllDeaf (including sub-domains), please do a backup just in case. Membership accounts will not be affected so don't worry about re-registering or lost of password.

It really depends since it's hard to guess when DNS (Domain Name Servers) propagation will be complete. It usually takes between 24-48 hours for domain names to show up on the Internet. ;)

Is this an entirely different 'server' from the one you're presently using or is it more of an upgrade (allowing more space, etc...)?

Anyhow, thanks for the info...wishes you well on a smooth transition!
