Hi everyone,

I'm afraid that I have no choice but to give Tigger to my sister. All day today she has been vomiting her food and having accident after accident in my apartment. This is too much for me to take and I can't bear to see Tigger suffer like this. It's going to break my heart giving her up, but at the same time, it breaks my heart just as much if not more to see her not being able to hold food down. What's worse is that she has lost her energy; her puppylike behaviors. I can see her age today and it makes me want to cry because all I can do is think back to the day I received her 2 days after Christmas in 1997. :(

Have you taken her to the vet? It sounds like she's pretty sick.. I'm sorry you have to give her up to your sister.

Tigger is her retired service dog.

Sorry about the decision, HA.

pray for lord God pray for you I hope be encourage to you Hope be peaceful I feeling sorry hear sad. I pray for you hope be peaceful freedom....

Awww I am sorry to hear that HA. It is always hard to give up something you love so dearly.

Do you have the other service dog yet? Or will you just be using your cane?

Your dog is the same age as my dog, she's getting old and going deaf and blind.

I am sorry and Did you get a new guide dog yet?

I'm very sorry that Tigger took a turn for the worse. What does the vet say? Is there hope for recovery?

Tigger will have a good home with your sister.

Awwww!!! I am sorry! Here is a

Awwwwwww I am sorry. :( Did you take her to vet...maybe something's wrong with her and make her throw up. Poor Tigger!

Hear Again,

I am so sorry to learn you are going through this terribly sad ordeal. Am thinking of you and sending prayers your way.

Sorry to hear about your dog and hope the dog will be all right.

Awwww HA, sorry to hear about your guide dog. I know its reallly tough to watch a fave pet suffer. At least , you had some wonderful times and memories with Tigger. Hang in there!

This is really bad news but maybe you could take her to the vet first to see what is going on? Maybe she is just having some sort of disease. Maybe she ate something she wasn't meant to... <pat to Tigger>

I wish there was something else I could say to you in this difficult time for you...

<big hugs> Jamie

Sorry to hear of this, HA. I know you have mentioned this day of reckoning before so words fail me.

Oh no Hear Again, this is not what you need at the moment. Has she gone now? how long would it be before the other service dog trained? Thats if you are getting another one.

Thinking of you at this time...(((HUGE HUGS )))

My sympathies to you and your dog. I have a lab, pretty young at 4 yrs, but I definitely know there's a risk for health complications at any time. Your vet will properly diagnose what is wrong with your dog, perhaps - god-forbid - may recommend to put it at rest. *hug*
