    Greetings. This was in deed a rough start. I was going to comment on your views, but withdraw. You are entitled to your own thoughts and feelings about your hearing loss. I am curious also, this "method" of yours about improving hearing, does it not work for you? Maybe some people here...

    Hello and it's nice to see a parent teaching their child ASL at an early age. ASL itself is a language, and it's like learning any other language. ASL has it's own grammar and sentence structure. However, there are some ASL forms created to be art (poetry, storytelling, etc.).
