I simply adore field hockey. It is deffently my favorite sport and is just an amazing game. any field hockey players here? better yet, any field hockey goalies?

Why is deafness a culture? And if it is, why isn't blindness, or wheelchair users? we could look at every disability as a culture, so why is deafness so special? Okay, so you have your own language, blind people have Braille... and yes, i said "DISABILITY" why do you get so angry at that word...

I've noticed that a lot of deaf people just, expect hearing people to sign. I think this is kind of strange and hypocritical. which comes to my question, If you were not deaf, would you sign? Also, would you know other deaf people and be able to communicate efficiently with him/her?

I have sk1 and thinking of sk2, but I don't know what the point would be? what does the sk2 have that the sk1 doesn't?

well, I'm switching to a private school next year and will not take ASL class in school. and I used to take ASL out of school as well, but it is every wednesday night and My youth group is wednesday nights. So i had to quit.:( so now I am looking for someoen who would tudder me in ASL that lives...
