Phonak Naida V SP and cell phones

Someone bought me the captivate for christmas and it does not work with my hearing aids at all. It says that the phone is HA compatible with an M3 rating. I am going to set up an appointment to take it to my audiologist. Maybe she has to activate something in my HAs first

Phonak Naida V SP and cell phones

I will eventually get an icom. I get tired of having to have subtitles turned on every time I watch TV. And I can not find a pair of in ear headphones that will fit my ears

Phonak Naida V SP and cell phones

I just read that the BB Bold is M3 and T3 rated. Someone bought me a phone tonight I guess as an early Christmas present and I researched it and all I could see is that it is rated M3. I hope this will work with my HAs or I am going to have to return it

    naida

no, I do not have an icom yet. And I tried to try some phones out yesterday but none of them worked at all. I was in an auto accident recently and lost my hearing aids. Phonak replaced them but I am not sure that the audiologist activated the tcoil or phone options on these new replacements

    naida

I have Naida V SPs and I am looking to get a new cell phone. Can someone tell me if I need to get a phone with an M rating or a T rating? I read that the M rating is for hearing aids with a microphone option but I don't know what that means

Phonak Naida V SP and cell phones

The time has come for me to get a new phone. I did have an iPhone which was never hearing aid compatible... it baffles me that Apple has not stepped up to this yet. Anyways, I dropped it and shattered the screen so I need a new one. I'm not sure which hearing aid rating to look for though...

    New iPhone 4

41 pages is a lot to read though, so i'll just ask now. Does anyone know if the new iPhone 4 will have a tcoil?

    I'm new

They were working pretty well for me for a while, although the left one needed turned up a little (my hearing is worse in the left). But turns out that it wasn't the hearing aids giving me problems these past couple days, it was my hearing. My illness was flaring up. I didn't really notice...

    Phonak vs. Oticon

I have Phonak Naida V SPs and I am pleased with them. Though, they are the first hearing aids I have ever worn so I have nothing to compare them to, aside from when I was able to hear naturally. I am also very pleased with their service. When I was going through the whole process of picking...

    Hearing aid tuning?

I recently became a hearing aid wearer and I have a question. I love these, they improve my quality of life a ton since I lost my hearing, but there is a small problem. The fine tuning is off in the left device. The best way I can describe it is that with any sound there is an accompanying...

    I'm new

Just wanted to introduce myself. I lost about 95% of my hearing in my right ear about three years ago. Some of it has come back, I think it's at about 75% loss now. Last year I lost 90% of the left ear. This is due to an auto-immune disorder that I have. I recently took the step into the...
