Huh. The reason I heard for Palin's resignation was she "didn't want to take a paycheck for doing nothing during a lame-duck session." For that, I would applaud her. But there was no mention of that reason in the article above . . . (It was word-of-mouth, but I trust whom I heard it from.)...
