A positive thread about absolutely nothing

Today I went through FIVE suburban towns. :P In order: Lincolnwood, Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, Kenilworth, and back to Wilmette. :D Also, I finished my ride a lot faster than I did last time, too. The last ride into these areas took 3.5 hours. Today's took 2. Big improvement, that is.

If it is an improvement or not depends on the purpose of the trip. If just getting from one place to another, yes it is an improvement. But. . . if the propose of the trip is seeing the sights in the area it is not necessarily an improvement!

That's not the point. My point is that I'm learning how to get around the suburban areas on my bike, something that I've never done before, and considering that, I see 2 hours being an improvement over nearly 4 hours a week ago. Now, I'm still learning a thing or two, but I'm confident that I can handle this Saturday's trip to Harper College the same way. I will need to be extra alert, however, because it's gonna be cold up there when I do get there.

I had a few hours the other night to do some bank fishing and decided to take a time lapse with my iphone:

I have discovered that I can run full-speed again after not doing so for many years due to back and knee injuries. YAY!! Looks like some of my former speed has returned. :P :D

I renew my CPR/ First Aid card yesterday :)

Working from home today. Positive in that I get to stay in my jammies. They're cute, by the way. :) Rare that I get to do this but I have to stay by hubby and email today because closing on the house still hasn't happened, and are addressing this. It'll be ok!

CNA ( Certified Nurse Assistant) program looks good for summer 2015:)

I got a reality check, and realized that if a TRUE emergency were to happen, I would be woefully unprepared, so I prepared a go-to bag just for that purpose. I still need to add a few more things, but at least I got to see just how badly off I would've been had I not realized this.

I am going to take a road trip late summer 2015 with my doggie
