What happens if the Supreme Court strikes down 'Obamacare'?

No charges of money laundering have been brought against Gingrich.
My threads have not cause a riot.
Everyone in my family and all my acquaintances (even at deaf socials) worry about the absolute hate I have for the Republican party (as well as the Democrat party), so they would die of shock of you told them I clap for the Reps.

If you want to say I slandered you then why does #248 show only one side of the coin. You are good at paste and post and could and should have found a equal post for the Dems. side of the coin.

so why aren't we seeing this "absolute hate" you have for GOP in here? I do not care for what your family or acquaintances think. I want to see what you claimed right here so either it existed or it didn't.

Notice that so far... you still have not given any single post that would prove me wrong.

I've stated I hate Gingrich a much as JFK for being low-lifes, cheating "husbands."
I've stayed I hate Nixon as much as Clinton for disgracing and dishonoring the American people's home.

ah-ha! there it is. if you said it without including any Democrats, it would make your post a little more credible.

sorry but let's not fool ourselves in here. you're not a "true" independent.

Reba & Foxrac,

You are both correct about the Constitution and that is why I revised and corrected my post but the Declaration of Independence does and has been recognized at times as law by the Supreme Court. I corrected my post shortly after I posted it but I see that I didn't get it changed in time!:P
The Supreme Court isn't going to recognize a call to violently overthrow the government even if it's in the Declaration. It would find that such a move would be totally unconstitutional.

Of course, anyone planning a violent overthrow isn't going to care what the Supreme Court says.

Nope, a true independent "likes" the good that both sides do.
And, a true independent "hates" the bad that both sides do.
You kill argument position with post #248 where you show only one side of the coin.
I would never do that.

BTW: it is about time you learn to respect copyright laws.

To all AD members:

I'm sorry this thread has gone so far south of the OP. From here out, I'll only post about the OP.

Everytime you post something like this you show how closed-minded you are.
You have made your position well known here on AD, and you are entitled to it.
The harm done to America by the Dems. is just as great as the harm done by the Reps., but you won't acknowledge this. I've always said the greatest harm to American is the two-party system. This position makes me a true independent.

:blab:

Reba,

I never abdicated the violent overthrow of the government. Those were yours & Foxrac's words not mine. Maybe I'm splitting hairs? But when it comes to overthrowing the government it may take some violence. Our forefathers certainly wouldn't approve of what's going on in America! I'm afraid that is what is coming for the future of our country since things like Martin & Zimmerman and the president going against the constitution, failing to uphold laws and doing whatever makes him happy whether right or wrong. If Obama is not voted out we are headed for disaster in a hand basket. Sad state of affairs for the USA. I don't hold on to much hope except from above.

The Declaration of Independence means we broke away from Great Britain and no longer to be governed by monarchy. We have own country with own constitution. It has nothing with overthrow of government today but only back in 1776.

I disagree with you about case with Obama and if he wins the election for 2nd term so he is elected president that voted by people via electoral college. I don't see any constitution that Obama ignored. It is just GWB won the 2nd term in 2004 and some people thought that he ignored the constitution due to war, also his approval rating is same as Obama today.

Any constitution can be changed over time but require 2/3 from the congress and 3/4 from the state, whatever supermajority of Americans agree about need change or not. However, change the constitution is extremely difficult.

Why are you brought about Trayvon Martin case to this thread? Our constitution doesn't state about stand your ground law and Zimmerman is remain innocent until prosecutor have a enough evidence to arrest him, otherwise the court will turn him away if evidence doesn't meet to exempt from stand your ground law. I'm pro-gun rights, especially support Castle Doctrine but doesn't support stand your ground law for some reasons, even I don't support NRA due to political reason. This thread is supposed to discuss about health care law - ACA, not Trayvon Martin case.

Honest with you, I think you may need see a psychologist if you are in fear about what happen with our country and seriously, nothing is wrong with our country. The budget and debt problems are going to be resolved in over time so we need have bipartisan law to resolve due to deadlocked in the congress.

I've never claimed to be an independent. I'm a registered Democrat. If you're gonna be a true independent, then act like one. For past several months, all you have done is bashed Democrats with extreme prejudice and lightly scolded GOP.

Now that I'm letting you go for not answering my question... I think we can accept the truth and move on.

BTW: it is about time you learn to respect copyright laws.
I'm sorry but I don't follow. And I don't care because you are notorious for not knowing how to cite laws/rules properly so it's best if we move on.

Interesting, I'm unregistered party and usually side with Democrat on most issues.

Reba,

Do you mean "advocated?"

That's what to overthrow a government means.

Our forefathers certainly wouldn't approve of what's going on in America! We have legal constitutional ways, such as thru elections and legislation, to change the direction of the government. It's up to the voters to choose the right people. If we elect the wrong people into office, we will get what we asked for. If the majority of the voters select representatives and leaders who reflect their own wrong desires, then that's what we get. Those same voters aren't going to support an overthrow of people that carry out their agenda.

We're pretty much getting what the majority wants. The only way to change that is to change their hearts.

Even Jesus had to teach his disciples that he didn't come to use force to overthrow the tyrannical Roman government. He came to change hearts. It was up to the people with changed hearts to change their society, not with force but with persuasion thru a whole new outlook on life.

Ah yes, Denial.......That cures everything. Lol

Yes Reba, once again you are correct! :P Darn it! I did mean advocate. I should have looked it up as I hate to be wrong! :giggle: I also agree that violence won't work and that it is better off left to things like speaking out, standing up for what's right and prayer. Lots of it! Like when Jesus healed the soldiers ear that had been cut off. Thanks sister for setting me straight.
