What rules?

The ones that you seem to want to change depending upon who is the topic of discussion.

Tell me, would you be so quick to defend were this a liberal candidate?:hmm:

Why are we arguing Obama and Cain? It almost sounds like Caine is the only real contender. I'm sure we want to pick the best Republican candidate, someone that would be good for the country. Let's discuss the candidates and once the primaries are over then we can come back to the Obama vs Republican candidate.

I have in the past. Even when I read rumors of John Edwards infidelity, for example, I posted nothing until after others had posted the public reports. Even then, I didn't jump to any conclusions or make political use of that information.

I've never defended sexual harassment by anyone, including Cain. I don't defend branding him without knowing the facts.

If the choice is compelling enough, yes. Unfortunately for Cain, he offers nothing to counterwhat has been shown to be a downfall in his treatment in the women.

Likewise, Clinton's accusations all included a willing participant. Cain inflicted his mistreatment on unwilling victims.[/QUOTE

Paula Jones was a WILLING participant!!!!???? You must be married to a cave man!

In your world, Clinton's biggest mistake was being a Democrat.

BTW, learn to quote. I needed to correct it myself so it made sense.

At least, in your world, youagree that Ms. Jones was an un-WILLING participiant.

Avoidance of discussing his government experience, a specialty of the Cain followers. Do you think his lack of experience is a plus? Are you confident he will do the best job? Is there a better candidate from the Rolling7 Republican Derby?

I will say it one more time, slowly so you can understand, I am an independent and think everyone should be. I am only a supporter of doing away with the Dem. and Rep. parties. Look at the mess they have gotten us into! Anyone who votes straight party ticket should be put on a slow boat to China.

My husband is deceased, but I can guarantee you he was not the throw back you appear to be.:cool2:

Anyone watch the news tonight? We have a victim of Cain's that has gone public. The 4th one to make the accusation.

Already know about it. A woman who never worked for the NRA is claiming Cain groped her.

It is still a "he said, she said" (unfortunately for you).

It is funny that all the previous poo flinging in Cain's direction did not result in anything sticking. I do not anticipate this will stick either as it has become blatantly obvious to even a mere simpleton that this is a swarm smear tactic. Someone sees Cain as a threat. Why wait 15 years to bring up allegations that were already proven to be false?

So what if she never worked for the NRA? That is completely irrelevent.

Keep telling yourself he didn't do anything wrong, Steiny.:laugh2:

Yeah, blame the victims. Nice.

Nothing has ever been proven to be false.

You were whining about no one having the guts to go public. Eat your words. You have the one who is willing now.:laugh2:

Something interesting I saw on the news. These allegations have not affected his standing in the polls at all. :hmm:

Have not been affecting his standing with the people who are willing to answer the polls. Who are going to most willing to answer? His die hard supporters.

I was mostly thinking it showed how our society values women.
