Do you have any idea what is involved in bringing a bankrupt corporation up to a profitable business?

First, it involves cutting spending ....

It does not involve receiving a downgrade in credit.

BTW, the left is having a circus, and Allred is the ring leader

Gonna be fun to watch ....

And?

A company on the verge of bankruptcy already has a downgrade in credit. Point is moot.

Allred? You have a problem with her?

I know many women who are on "on the left" as you put it that have no tolerance for males that treat females with a paternalistic and discriminatory attititude. Has nothing to do with political affiliation. It has to do with a lack of respect and treatment that promotes equality.

Since you failed to answer my question, we can all assume that your answer is "No, I do not know what is invovled in community planning."

He had already been elected.
Not the second term. People knew he was an unfaithful husband before the second term election. (Which is why no one was really surprised when the Monica Lewinsky story broke.)

"Bill Clinton easily defeated the leading Democratic contenders in the 1992 primaries, despite charges about having avoided the Vietnam draft and his rumored affairs with women. He dealt with the infidelity issue on national television in an interview in which he admitted to having caused "pain" in his marriage. Although he said he had smoked pot as a college student, he added that he "didn't inhale," which struck his critics as disingenuous. Most voters seemed unconcerned with his private life or his stand on a war that had ended many years before."

"Additionally, a barrage of political and personal scandals plagued the Clinton administration in its first term. . . Moreover, the administration was negatively affected by . . . the rumored sexual escapades of President Clinton while governor of Arkansas (including allegations that he had sexually harassed an Arkansas state employee, Paula Corbin Jones)."

Which is exactly why Herman Cain should take over

Geez .... Like shooting fish in a barrel

He's a Federal Reserve guy. No doubt he thinks the answer is printing more money. :giggle:

It's ironic that for years people have been complaining that too many politicians were making careers of politics and not representing the common man and the real world. People didn't want professional politicians who stayed on in government for decades, and had no other outside experiences.

Funny. I think I saw you complaining about Obama's lack of experience as a reason he was unqualified to hold the office of the President.:hmm: So now, lack of experience is okay?

Then why bring it up when we were discussing Cain's qualifications?
I didn't.

I replied to this post:

Past Presidents have been a peanut farmer, a movie actor, slave owner, haberdasher, and tailor.

Presidents' Occupations — Infoplease.com

Candidates have included even more variety of backgrounds.

The topic of the post to which I replied was about candidates running for President. I merely showed that there's always been a variety of occupations held by candidates for President.

Maybe that wasn't what you were discussing but I believe I'm allowed to reply to others' posts without requesting clearance first.

...For you. Look for the "R" - check the box. Pedal home. Tell your friends.

There are some of us that try to sift through the imposters, the popularity contest winners, the flash in the pan types, to find someone that instills confidence. I would choose OBAMA over this guy, and I would feel confident I made the right choice. Remember, for the record, that I dislike Obama. I will keep reminding the group. Do not paint me as a Liberal. Just paint me as skeptical that the new "flash in the pan" candidate is the answer.

Geez, the Republican Party must be hurting for viable candidates now that the Palin "Fear" campaign has gone cold.

I believe I specifically referred to his lack of executive experience, including any business experience.

Bill Clinton had a bit more to offer this country as a politician than Herman Cain has. Political experience for one thing. It was a cost benefit analysis. Womanizer who has what it takes to run the country. Which is more important...his running the country or his sex life?

Herman Cain cannot match Clinton in any way shape or form regarding qualifications for the office of President. So it comes down to, "Sexist pig that really doesn't have any redeeming qualities as a politician."
