Breaking News! CNN announces Osama Bin Laden is Dead !

Really, they are a minority, but judging from our almost-genocidal response, you would not think so.
I don't agree that our response is almost genocidal.

They (the terrorists) may be a minority but they have a big impact.

Since the killing of OBL, the response of many (not all) Pakistanis was disturbing. Many were calling OBL a hero, a good man who did no terrorism (just Western lies).

Really? What do you call the millions (or at least one million) of civilian deaths? Unfortunate accidents?

Are you saying that America has an official policy of wiping out all Muslims?

You expect me to fall for the tactic of answering a question that follows a question?

Anyway, when we look at the statistics, we must say mostly Yes. (I am thinking of the effects of Depleted Uranium.) :(

I wanted clarification of your question.

Anyway, when we look at the statistics, we must say mostly Yes.
So you believe that Bush and Obama simply want to wipe out all Muslims, and are using our military to accomplish that goal? Then you also must believe that they want to accomplish their goal in the slowest, most impractical manner possible.

Do the Muslims themselves even believe that?

What number of civilians were intentionally killed by our troops?

What number of civilians were intentionally killed by their own people? (Such as suicide bombers at Iraqi recruiting stations, police buses, funerals, etc.)

Most Muslims in the war-torn countries do not have access to television, least of all the internet. They are simply not aware of the dangers of DU while we jolly well are.

And to answer your other question, I am sure the number is low enough to be insignificant in the overall picture.

It is good to see that there are a few posters who completely understand what I was alluding to. It is the fundamental principle of diplomacy.

Why is it that people seem to think the solution to a problem is doing more and more of what creates the problem to begin with?

New video on CNN showed Osama looks really scared in single room while he was accessing to all broadcasts to watch himself on tv. I could tell he is afraid of everything.

No, he looks like he's in love with himself.

I don't lump all Muslims together. I consider the ones who want all infidels dead to be a threat.

I didn't say we should attack "ragheads" (I never used that term) and all their neighbors (I assume you mean non-"ragheads," as you call them).

I did say that Islamic terrorists who attack America or Americans shouldn't expect us to simply say, "Oh, that's their culture, and we should respect that."

They should expect retaliation. Isn't that also in their culture?

Fanaticism is not culture. That is like saying Westboro Baptist Church is a reflection of American cultural values.:cool2:

I always find it funny people judge the Islamic culture accordingly to what is going on in the Middle East, when truth to be told: most Muslims are from East Asia. I don't see Australians boycotting Indonesia as a vacation destination because of radicals.

Two Black Hawk helicopters carried about 25 Navy Seal members to the compound, where they killed Bin Laden but one copter had crashed. Other copter can carry 25 troops plus three crews and body of OBL. Report said the Black Hawk can transport 11 fully equipped combat soldiers in an assault ready configuration, or 14 in a maximum capacity situation. Maximum troop carrying capacity is 20 lightly equipped personnel.

I wonder that one copter is enough room to carry all of them?

Actually, there was 4 helicopters. 2 were on stand by.

I think that two copters was arrived at OBL s house. I guess that other copter picked other troops while flying on air.

Yes - two went. One crashed
One flew back, half the troop went on foot, one of the back up went to collect them. 4th was on stand by the whole time. So total was 4.

Does this mean that at least some Muslims accept OBL's burial at sea?

Islamabad, May 11(ANI): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) members have offered fateha for the salvation of the soul of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden in Pakistan's National Assembly (NA), without the permission of Acting Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi...

On a point of order, JUI-F lawmaker Maulvi Asmatullah raised his hands for dua, and was followed by two other members of the party, including the younger brother of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman.

Although the Acting Speaker repeatedly asked them not to do so, Maulvi Asmatullah went ahead while ignoring him, the Daily Times reports.

Before offering fateha, a JUI-F MNA said that as the US had admitted that bin Laden's burial in the sea was carried out in accordance with the Islamic rituals, so it had become necessary to offer fateha....
