You are so wrong. They test employees for drug use and if they're positive, they're fired.

Obesity is much more ambigious though.

You can fire someone over weight. Models who fail to be skinny will be fired.
hmmmmm
ok

It is about greed..not offer people health insurance becausse they dont want to pay for it?

Not when it cuts into profits, how can a business survive if we have to pay an enormous amount of money to supply the employees with health insurance through a private sector as the law requires and have no profit in order to keep business afloat?

This isn't about greed, this is about business survival. Although it's a nice "play-on-words", using words like "greed" and accusing a business of being greedy because they're trying to survive as a business. When a business needs to cut costs and save money in order to keep business going, they're accused of being evil and greedy.

Try running a business of your own and you'll see what it takes to run a business.

They don't want the gov't telling them what to do

That's the keyword, how would you like it if the government starts telling you when and what time you are allowed to take a crap, when to eat, when to go to bed, when to wake up. When to brush your teeth, when to take a shower, when to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. When to go to work, when to take your breaks and when to go home. When to sit, when to stand up.

What TV programs you are allowed to watch, what books to read and what newspaper you can buy and read. When and how to even think.

How ya like it when your life is controlled in every aspect of your life from sun up to sun down?

Yeah, sounds Orwellian!

That's true - but what business will hire someone who is a criminal?

Its a crime to NOT have health insurance coverage.

As of today, if you do not have health insurance, you are a Federal Criminal.

So it's a crime to breathe?

it should be targeted toward to insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and hospitals only...... not us hard-working Americans.

Correct. It's those companies that charge an enormous amount of money for pills, charge people $200 and higher to visit a doctor, EMT transport costs over $600 dollars to take you to the hospital, Hospitals charges for bed stay $1k per day and tens of thousands of dollars for exams, surgeries and so on. In some cases they charge over 100k and more.

You accuse Employers of being greedy and yet miss the mark when it comes to the cost of healthcare. So who's being greedy now?

:gpost:

and most people who are FOR this bill thought they were getting something for FREE.

Nope, you will be required by law to PURCHASE health insurance through a private sector. Failure to do so, you will be branded as a criminal. Even if you do get health insurance from an employer, you still have to pay a portion of it out of your paycheck. It's not gonna be FREE.

No....I dont think I am getting free healthcare....I just want to know where it states that you have to buy insurance at a private sector, even if you are recieving insurance from your employer.

How is it different from refusing to pay taxes? You're a criminal if you don't pay your share for the country.

I pay my share...I still do....

But I am unemployed.

They are the one that decides whether or not I am eligible for medicaid.

If not...how do I pay for it? With the little money I got?

Out of my A$$?

If I can't pay it, I still have to pay a penalty and if I don't

....well I will be getting a nice view of the sky through bars.

Nah, we don't have debtor's prison here in the USA.

You don't pay if you're unemployed. You pay only when you have substantial income.

I think if you are unemployeed and don't have cobra, I think you apply for medicaid until you have a job. yeah, alot of us don't like gov't insurance but that's the way it is going to work. They made sure that no one get left out.
