40 Employees Laid Off By Gallaudet University

:shock: YIKES! I have a friend that work at Gally...not sure how many but maybe one or two friends....

I got more information about other laid off employees. I just PMed to a few folks here.

One of them was offered a severance and early reitrement package and he accepted it.

Another round of layoffs will most likely happen in May or June and the target of this round will be untenured professors.

damn! I wish they would get rid of a few of the tenured professors in the English Department ... but thats just me .... :whistle:
 
Yeah, scary, and from my understand this won't be the last round of lay offs.
