Tips on building a good snowman?

LOL! It was hard making it when the snow kept falling apart. Now, with the tips I recieved, hopefully, I will make a bigger one that stands upright. :)

The picture of your snowman is sure cute. :) I usually wait until when the snow is at it's thickest before the boys and I can build a snowman.

No, because my body was hurting everywhere from shoveling for 5 plus hours on Sat and Sunday and then playing in the snow yesterday. I just spent the day doing nothing physical. That was why I was on the computer all day which is very unlike me! :lol:
 
Thanks everyone for the compliments on my snowman! It is probably the 5th snowman I have ever built in my life.
 
It's easy to make the snowman. You need to start with snowball and summit on the snow and roll it. I made snowman many times in my life. I found the video with CC for you to watch this. I hope it will help. Good luck!

The key is slushy snow. Like the kind we are getting dumped on here in Iowa.

Its also fun to make scultures. :)

You will notice that if you shovel airy and flaky snow it is light but when you shovel wet and slushy snow it is heavy.

I had to deal with the latter for 3 hours this morning. :eek3:
