Then perhaps you are being far too sensitive. My father was a Marine, WWII vet, my uncle is a lifer in the air force, Korean War vet, my brother was a Marine, Viet Nam vet, and I have numerous friends and associates that would also fall into that category. In fact, I would say my familial and friend ties to the military are far more extensive than your own. And I don't view Liebling's posts in that way in the least.

You want Liebling to abide by your perspective of what you think respect is.

You cannot force a person to appreciate something. You cannot enforce a person to respect something if you, yourself, do not respect it already.

You've already blatantly disrespected Liebling and you've got the nerve to demand Liebling to respect the US soldiers and the US government.

You simply cannot do this when you have not yet respected her country and yes, you've posted an inflammatory picture to her telling her to STFU.

You're being a real hypocrite by doing this. You cannot say you take real offense on the behalf of Reba when she, herself, can come to this thread.

Jiro, please, stop speaking for other people.

anyway - Liebling is FREE to rant (even with no proof) if she does not work for us. but she does and she must extend a respect and at least to back up her accusation with proof and/or logical argument. She has done no such thing.

Secondly if she didn't respect and appreciate our government--then why is she worling for them?

Third--no different than military members disobeying orders from the Commander in Chief......

Liebling is free to rant no matter who she works for. And your demands of what others must do and must not do is exactly what everyone here is objecting to. You are showing a complete lack of respect for others, and yet feel free to demand that your opinion be respected. Talk about hypocritical.

Really, Jiro, you need to sweep your own front porch before you attempt to sweep any one else's.

Well, I worked for the State of California for 35 years and one of their policies is, as an employee, my behavior, both at work and at home is to comport myself with dignity and uphold the image of the State everywhere I go. All problems, disagreements, etc are resolved in-house in accordance to the procedures outlined, etc.......and to stretch the point even further, State employees are not allowed to, for example, run for positions on school boards, county commissions, etc
