Yes, there is a difference. A Creole is African American, French, and Spanish, with a bit of American Indian thrown in. A Cajun is short for French Arcadian.

So there culture is slightly different?

White & mixed.

European - my dad's side: German/Irish
Asian/Middle Eastern - my mum's side: Malay/Turkish.

I was told that I also have Dutch and Egyptian blood. Seems like my whole extended family's from every corner in the world LOL!

I've noticed that there are so many races being mixed up that it will eventually come to a point where race no longer matters.

I am Pakeha (Caucasian/white), NZ Native, Italian, Spanish and English.

I'm Caucasian (white). Both my great-grandparents emigrated to the US (and then to Minnesota) from Scandanavia (my paternal family is Swedish, and my maternal family is from Norway and Denmark) so I am fully Scandanavian.

I think it's kinda sad that some people have to be forced to accept people who are not of their race because everyone's mixed, so it's hard to be racist. Ideally race shouldn't matter. But it is glaringly obvious that it is. If I hear Obama is the first black president ONE MORE TIME..... I mean it's great and expected that it's acknowledged, but its been non-stop mentioning (same with Palin possibly being the first female VP). Man, we have a LONG WAY to go before we stop pointing out those things!

I am Cree and Cherokee from both Canada and United States. I do have some white and black heritages. I am more proud of being Cree than Cherokee because I do have lots of ancestors and some living relatives in Ontario and Quebec. Every native american indians have different customs and cultures so we are different just like you have different races with white and black people. Yeah, today we are having our first black american president in United States. I hope he does a good job being the president of the United States. :fingersx:
