i have been interested since i was a child, totally fasinated with it.. finally I meet some Deaf classmates and then ended up dating a Deaf fellow for a year, now I am fluent but no longer with the guy, we still chat and the rest in history. love the Deaf community here, its always a blast!

I found a good book that had a lot of great info and ASL signs is called... talking with your hands listening with your eyes, by Gabriel Grayson. Its a great book to check out, maybe it will be what your looking for.

I never said cued speech should replace ASL. I said it should be used with it meaning it just be another method to use to teach english. ASL does not teach english therefore something is needed to teach it and CS seems to work well for some people.

its an interesting topic. I also think its a sensitive one with some people too. I think that its something that should be used with ASL not against it to teach english skills.

thanks for your input but im not deaf and I dont have perfect signing like all of you. I work with people that use SEE more than ASL so sometimes I use the other signs.
