in respose to mega...about being hoh ...it depends really i think...there are some hoh that went to a deaf school...but in my case, my grandparents, parents, siblings are deaf and i am hoh like you but did not go to a deaf school, i went to a hearie school....for many years, i have done this...

it is sad to hear about another tragic story of the kennedys...but his cancer as they say, is fatal especially to the elderly....the prognosis is not good, they were saying for the younger ones about 3 yrs...elderly a lot quicker....the kennedys have had their share of tragedies....

very good point chase...i often am at awe with people that wants to be labelled?? Deaf or deaf....Hard of Hearing or hard of hearing.....maybe the word labelled is wrong to use....growing up in a deaf family, am hard of hearing myself, i never saw that my parents was different from any...
