in respose to mega...about being hoh ...it depends really i think...there are some hoh that went to a deaf school...but in my case, my grandparents, parents, siblings are deaf and i am hoh like you but did not go to a deaf school, i went to a hearie school....for many years, i have done this...

what about looking up deaf coffee chat ?? usually held in starbucks....once or twice a month depending on where u live....if youre in the md area...then go to gallaudet university...and make friends from there....

it is sad to hear about another tragic story of the kennedys...but his cancer as they say, is fatal especially to the elderly....the prognosis is not good, they were saying for the younger ones about 3 yrs...elderly a lot quicker....the kennedys have had their share of tragedies....

well...just like that one person said, call whatever you like for yourself, if that makes u feel comfortable.....and another one said about the hearies, just assumed that if you hear and speak pretty well they just keep on talking and then they say, oh thats right i forgot u got selective...

i just think any surgery is a risk......what about these babies that was born with a heart defect?? or whatever there is....and the reconstructive surgeries that we all have, reconstructed knee, elbow, arm...the people had to have steel screws and etc...pacemakers....they all have a risk....we...
