What are you thinking about? Part V

I'm thinking next week will be really rough. As part of my child neglect and abuse class, we have to look at pictures of children who had been abused. :(
 
I'm thinking I am so bored, I will hit the hay early. Hubby has a 9am appointment to have a CT scan done on his heart. Doc wants pictures from all kinds of ways just to see what kind of damage. The cardiologist in Missouri made it sound terrible in the file and the doc here is questioning it since hubby hasn't had any problems. Given what the report looks like, he should be able to move much, work or be active. Well, he works full time in a freezer, does all the yard work, walks 3 miles 4 days a week, and plays racquetball 3 days a week. I was told he had an enlarged aorta, but the cardiologist said he was having blocked arteries.
 
I am thinking about my doctors appointment coming up. This is the specialist and he walks in the room and goes directly to my hubby. Totally ignoring me. Then he pats the table twice for me to sit downl I am not a dog. When he walked out of the room I said something to hubby and apparently was not quiet. Need to come up with something clever for this appointment. I want to say"I am deaf not stupid you ignorant bastard" is that too much. Hahaha
 
Thinking how sad to watch one of my niece constantly seeking attention on Facebook by posting her status so many times a day (as it seems in my book).

Wish she would find a new hobby and turn her focus to it.
She doesn't like to read, and finds things boring.

I can relate!...(many instances)....You are an adult. (at least I hope so :giggle:)....Many times, people have looked/talked to my son(s), when they should be talking/typing/writing to me if there is a misunderstanding....so...matter of factly I have said..."MY son is the child, I am the adult...you talk/type/write to me."...

It really pisses me off, but sometimes there is no intrepretor (and I requested one today, but no show)...some people are very hard to lip read, as today, I had that problem.

Next time the doctor does this, I would say..."hey! You forgot to whistle"....(when he pats the table twice for you to sit down)....But, could be, that he didn't mean to be rude.....still, I see that you are now realizing how we deafies feel....*sigh*....gear up, Angel!....got a lonnnnnng road ahead.
 
I'm thinking of the fact how it's different now that my 1977 Caprice wagon is gone. Thinking of other changes that I have to make in my life.

Some of my doctors are great. My primary care doctor is female and types everything in large print on her computer right in front of me. The doctor I am seeing next week works with a lot of deaf people. He just has a stick up his ass and does not want to be bothered with communicating.
 
I'm still alive if anyone cares.

I'm making my big cross country trip exactly next week alone.

I should make it to California on the 25th and hopefully there'll be a home for me.

Seems that everything goes wrong for me no matter how hard I try.

Aww! That means so much to me... it's nice knowing that someone out there at least cares.

I'll be leaving exactly Friday in early AM and should arrive in CA on around 25th... We really should meet up!!! I don't know if I'll have a car, but I'll do my best. Can you meet me in Yuba City? If you have a phone and can text, PM me for my phone number please. It's still the area code 530.

My family will want to celebrate late Christmas/Birthday with me once I arrive though so give me a week or two. :) Thank you sweetheart.

Okay hun, how about a week or two after I settle in, we'll have a lunch? Rocklin is about the same distance as Yuba City is... Really. I know you're in one of those towns, but I'm in a small town! Rocklin, maybe? I also have a HoH friend who lives there. We can set up a lunch date with you, her, and me. :) And I'll be working in Colorado this summer.

I'm okay. Still struggling in life. But it's something I go through almost daily. I'll be okay. I hope to get one hell of a reward at the end of my lifetime.

I'm going to start paying off my family's millionaire home mortgage, living in my family's home, fix it up, take care of the horses, take my almost 16 year old sister to school, raise her, work as a teacher's aide, etc. It's just endless, but it's my family. I'd be more than happy to help my own family after 7 years of ditching them. Family comes first.
