Why do women cheat?

You are correct in that. Women are notorious for having the false belief of "If you loved me you would know what I need, want, etc."
 
Just have to add this, as well. Women (and men) cheat because of a fear of being alone. They are dissatisfied with the relationship they are in, but so fearful of being alone that rather than end it, as an ethical, honest person should, before getting involved with another, they engage in other relationships while still involved with the primary relationship. Kind of like hedging their bets. Even of one of them leaves, the other will still be there.
 
It indicates that they do not understand the concept of a lifetime commitment. Marriage requires a strong foundation of communication, otherwise it's doomed.

Once communication goes out the window, the marriage will suffer.

Right, Banjo; too many think the grass is greener over yonder vs working on what the attraction was all about in the first place.....hard work for some, not so hard for others....
 
I thought the movie "the bridge of madison county" was interesting. Probably some truth to how some women feel and why the cheat.

If it was before marriage I wouldn't. But after marriage I will forgive him only once. The second time tells me he's a womanizer.

Why not? People make mistakes. If the person was worth marrying in the first place then they should be worth working through tough issues. :shrug:

The women I have known wanted a break from reality and responsibility. They wanted sex without having to balance the checkbook and walk the dog first. They wanted to travel on a days days notice. They wanted sex in the back seat of the car because they remember that as being fun. (or they remember a simpler time)
