Check out this link for my mysterious meaning. :D

I got contempt of court for telling him, "I've never heard that silence is golden...."

I do not get the Judge's point. I have a problem with slang or istoms. (spell??) My kids sometime talk slang languages. It frustrated me to understand. *sigh*

Ok, here is a better explaination.

Someone was saying something that was bullshit in court. I jumped up and hollered, "He is lying!"

I did that like 3 or 4 times. The judge was getting mad and asked the lawyer to tell me to stay quiet. I finally did it for one more time. The lawyer never bothered to tell me to be quiet. The Judge asked the interpreter to tell me that I need to be quiet and "Did you know that Silence is golden." The slang means that Silence is worth like how much gold is worth. Means, if I stay quiet..I won't get in trouble again.

My reply to the judge was, "I have never heard that silence is golden." I said it as that I did not hear this quote before (like you didn't undersand it) then the judge took me seriously (considered me being rude) and had ordered the bailiff officer to escort me from the courtroom for contempt of court mean not doing what judge says.

My parents knew that I wasn't trying to be rude but was actually just trying to ask what does it mean? But the Judge took me the wrong way thinking I said that to be rude. :p

Whoa Judge sometime no patient with Deaf people. They do offend me and also force my son to do interpreter when the interpreter did not show up. *sigh*

Some of the Judges are jerk and nice ! They should take Deaf Education class before they hire them as Judge to familiar with Deaf Culture and language. The case was closed, Judge admitted that she admired me and my son alot. :ugh:

We had a good challenge. ;) I am not afraid of the Judge at all.

Yes, I was only 16 yrs old at that time.

Last time I was in the court was over no proof of license..it was that kind where people would walk up to a soapbox and speak out to the judge from there.

When it was my turn..I just walked up straight to his table and asked for a piece of paper and pen...that judge tried to point me to go back to the soapbox and I told him, "Sorry me deaf." Then he let me write down what I got to say. I'm sure some other people in the back seats were like, "Shit he's going to get in trouble..." :p

My name comes from a Mesopotamian mythology story about a person named Ziusudra who saves the world from a deluge (flood). Atra-hasis is the other name of this person. Ziusudra sounded nice and feminine so I took it heh, it also starts with Z and so it's unusual. I was studying Ancient Egypt as part of my uni course earlier this year, and the name just stuck. The story is actually similar to the Christian story of Noah's Ark. :)

As for my handle name...I would reckon it's pretty obvious to a few who live in Australia or see an Australian tv show in selected countries...it's from this TV show called 'Water Rats' - a tv police drama show about the Sydney Water Police. I was and still am addicted and hmm...*ahem* obsessed over that show, :P

Goldie is a beloved nick name for Detective Rachel 'Goldie' Goldstein on that show. She played a very powerful and strong willed/minded woman. That inspired me. :)

complicated...
i guess i chose that because it just always appealed to me
my first sn ever was complex410 and it didn't work out
so i took on complex goddess and that's been my aim sn ever since
i think that everything simple always collaspes into complexity once they're over-analzyed and thus lose their microscopic attributes. goddess, because i'm into mythology.
none of that goddess diva princess shit, mind you.. (well,.... haha)
