John Glenn is very old now. That would be impossible. :aw:
can be impossible but its possible.. it happen in 1997 that i accident bumped to him at Washington D.C. subway.. so i asked his guide to take picture of me, him, and 2 other people who i went with for a program called "close-up"

Heres John Glenn Scuba

Speaking of space subjects. President bush talks about sending men back to the moon. Now how in the hell you gonna do that with the space shuttle? If you land that thing on the moon great now how are you gonna take off? Space shuttle doesnt take off like an airplane.

yeah that john glenn... he was a sentor that time or house of rep. in 1997.

anyway yes.. space shuttle can take off like an airplane

I remember the early space program. It was a very exciting time. We watched every event on our black and white TV. Our family watched with excitement and nervousness the first man on the moon landing.

When my dad worked for Lockheed he was part of the early X-15 engineering team at Edwards AFB, and later he was involved with Apollo and Gemini development. I remember when he brought home the artist renditions of the proposed Gemini craft. I was a very geeky child, and space travel was fascinating to me.

Really Then how are we gonna get the shuttle like this on the moon?

Im Glad president bush talks about us returning to the moon. Maybe there could be a moon station built on the moon. I hope they can build a moon station for 1,500 scintist. So that way no one can gain access to top classified infomation.

I’m no engineer, but I understand a little bit about the physics which are involved. My own amateur opinion is that the best way to do it would be to build a ‘Moon bus’ in low Earth orbit which would shuttle back and forth between the Earth and the Moon, going from an Earth parking orbit to a Lunar parking orbit. The ‘bus’ itself would never land, it would just serve as a ferry to drop off passengers and supplies. In the long run, though, I think we’re going to need a better Space Shuttle to achieve this. The one we have now is just too big, clunky, and overly complicated.

Ha ha ha hah! Levonian might not like that Steve! That is specie prejuduce you know!

Astronant, i love to learn about that , i learned alot from high school.. it awesome to learn... watched alot movies about astrounant, etc.. it so makin me interesting about join in astronant.. but i never think that i would make it thou and success cause they require wearing the headphones over your head, listen to boss, other ppl ,etc.. like that.. but oh well!!

:)
