What's your biggest regret in life?

I try to think this way too.. But ya know its always hard to do that.

I regret only a few things, some unmentionable. But losing my virginity to the guy I lost it to, and then the guy after him, yeah they were both mistakes. =/ But i chalk it up to being 18 and fresh outta hs :)

And then i regret not doing better in HS =/

i dont really regret anything in my life -- the way i look at it -- they were all life's lessons and the way i am today is because of those things i was forced to endure to learn something abt life and better understand myself in the process
 
Getting married to a man who didn't know what commitment was and wasting 7 years of my life with him. I dedicated time and energy into the marriage only to learn he loved & lusted another woman. When I went into "deep-roots issues" counselling, I learned I married him to escape my issues at home. That was my biggest regret, getting married to escape issues with parents. I never got love and now I'm in a wonderful relationship and now realize what love means.
 
I have two regrets. But both regrets teach me the hardest lesson in my life. Like Liza's quote " Mistakes are our teachers " in other thread.

1.) Myself was not take seriously in school.

2.) Was not giving a chance to that person I loved. Often wonder if I give the chance to that person then everything be different for now.
 
Well, my biggest regret is that i never had another child..i just had one son and my exhusband didnt want any more children..he lied to me before we were married, said we could have two children but he changed after we had our son and told me firmly that we are not going to have any more kids! I was
just crushed..oh well...thats one of the reasons why i divorced him!!!

I regret being married when I was 18, I wished I waited!...
 
my bigges regret is.. getting married at young age and got a kid.. then found out my ex-wife is into woman.. so.. it wasted 6 years of relationship. and life. eh?

I feel you!!! I married so young, separated and spent time being single all before 31 and believe me, it was an education in life's school of lessons. :aw:

yeah.. also other reason i got married so i can get schoolarship and finincail aid and VR payments for college tution... since my parent's income is too high and yet they won't help me cuz i dropped out of college on my first year.

I regret not getting the chance to marry the love of my life.
 
i have no regrets i learned ALL my lesson in life and ofc, one thing i endured was a nasty past, but i chalk that up to learning to be a better me, lifes short to dwell on past and the futures bright for me, i got my hunny and i love her more than it counts the way, and she helped me learn about my fears and regrets. and taught me MORE than i will ever know! i thank her for being in my life at the right time. :)
 
I regret that I married to this physcho wife of mine who I am divorcing!! But I got the happiness now that my true love I once lost the chance years ago (check my thread "advices/share for MEN!!" that i posted few days ago), I know the true love now all because of this amazing lady who believed in me with all her love, faith, loyality!!! Another regrets is that I pushed her away for the time being and went on a rebound with a very young girl.. (my judgement was clouded and blind! and it's stupid thing i ever done) I finally found my happiness at last... and peace too that i haven't really had for many years....
 
I probably have some regrets but I can't recall what they are at the moment. I'm a believer in feeling bad for a while and then moving on. So no need to dwell on the bad feelings.

Um, the regret I'm feeling nowadays is that I have not done better in Univ as I could! Me lazy at times *sigh*
